My son, Christopher, has train on the brain! He loves all things train related from Lego to computer simulated trains. It all started on his second birthday when he received a Thomas the Tank Engine set from his dad and I. For the past few birthdays, Christopher opted to go on a train trip for his birthday outing and I recently created this scrapbook page to remember this year's trip.
Where am I in this page? I'm the shoes! ;) Those my friends, are one of my favorite pair of shoes...Rocket Dogs! I think they photograph better than I do! :)
To create the nifty train and tracks, I used a couple Silhouette die cut files. The awesome arrow papers and accents are part of Bella Blvd's Sand and Surf collection. I also mixed in some thin metal arrow die cuts. And there you have it. Memories to cherish for years to come.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a terrific Tuesday!

My little man had train love too but when we took him on the real life Thomas the Tank engine, he wasn't thrilled. Too noisy for my sensitive child. :( He still loves them but only from afar. So glad your little guy had a good time on his birthday. Love your blog (and your work!!), Kathy!!
Love the layout and the story! The train track is awesome. What great memories your little guy will have of his birthday.
This is such a neat page!! I love the design and the story too. My little boy loves trains. We haven't taken him on a train ride yet, but need to. We have gone to some train museums though.
oh this is a GREAT layout--love the train!
