Hello!

How was your St. Patrick's Day weekend? Did you do anything special? My dad was in town and took us out for sushi last night. Not exactly a St. Patrick's kind of tradition, but it was delicious and we had a lot of fun!

Today we have a dreary, rainy and cold day on tap so I thought a colorful and happy card share would help perk things up a bit.

This My Girl collection from My Mind's Eye is perfect for cheerful cards, don't you think? Love the adorable little red bike!

Hello!

I hope you are having a good Monday so far! With Valentine's Day just days away, I have a lot of love themed cards to share with you this week.

Today's card was created with Bella Blvd's new Kiss Me collection.

This line includes lots of traditional Valentine hearts and color along with pops of navy blue.....swoon! I tossed in a felt die cut heart, a glassine bag and a wood clothespin for a mix of textures.

First Class Mail

Good sunny day! Well, it's sunny here in North Carolina after four days of gray. And it's Friday too! Oh happy day!!!

A Little Love and Fabric Tape

Hi!

Love is in the air on my blog today! I felt like playing with some Love My Tapes fabric tape and die cuts last week and this is the result.

I used a piece of clear vellum to attach the fabric tape to before I ran it through the die cutter. You could also use card stock. I love, love, love my Papertrey Ink alphabet dies! I get a lot of use out of them.

I hope you like the card and have a wonderful  love-filled day!

Washi and Chocolate

A Page, Card Peek and Kitten

Hello!

How was your weekend? Ours was wonderful! Saturday evening we all went out to dinner. Christopher wanted to try sushi. I tried it years ago and wasn't keen on it, but I love that Christopher wants to try lots of different things. He loved it! And guess what? I did too! Go figure!

Sunday Dan and Christopher went to the annual model train show in Raleigh. Boys and their toys....they love trains!

I spent a lot of time this weekend cuddling this little guy.

Thursday morning, on our way out, to bring Christopher to camp. We heard this tiny little, "meow!" At first Christopher and I both thought it was one of those birds that sounds like a cat. After a couple more cries, I started looking around the bushes and the next thing I know, this little black and white bundle of fur is running towards me! All two tiny pounds of him! According to the neighbors he's been seen with his stray mama a few times. We have an appointment at the vet's office today to get him checked out and to rent a trap to catch mama and get her spayed.

Love My Tapes

When I think of fall, going back to school comes to mind.

Authentique has an amazing school line called Curiosity.

It's full of vintage images and lots of detailed stickers for layering and creating dimension.

I combined this line with some Love My Tapes fabric tape to look like a piece of ribbon at the top of the card.

The focal point tag was cut from a 12" by 12" piece of patterned paper. There's so many adorable tags included on that sheet.
