Skates remind me of childhood! I joke that I was born with skates on my feet because I wore them constantly growing up. I'm surprised I didn't sleep in them! ;) 

I created this card just for fun, just to play and use some left over My Girl supplies from My Mind's Eye.

Today I have a card to share for you that I created with the My Girl collection from My Mind's eye and a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

I love the texture you get with dry embossing and the mix of Kraft stock with brightly colored patterned papers.

Well, I have some crafty assignments to get to for Bella Blvd. and Doodlebug Design and I received my latest Papertrey Ink order in the mail so I have a lot of goodies to play with. I look forward to sharing my projects with you soon!

What Do You Think?

What do you think of your work when you step back and take a look? I really like when I create a project that I love immediately. Most times I think it's a good project, but nothing that stands out above and beyond my norm. Then there are times when I create something that just plain stinks! ;) And every once in a while I make something that I just can't decide if I like it. This card is one of those.

This card was made with the 'My Girl' collection from My Mind's Eye and the colors are certainly eye catching. What I'm not sure about is the amount of stuff on the tag. Did I go a little overboard? This morning as I took the photos and cropped them in PhotoShop, I started liking it. What do you think?

Good day!

It's been a crazy morning at our house! A morning where nothing seems to go as planned starting with the alarm clock not working. Then Christopher's school bus never arrived and our out-of-town guest had to leave in the middle of it all! Whew! Hopefully the rest of the day will run a bit smoother. :)

So, let's take a deep breath and smile, shall we? ;)

Let's Ride

Hello!

How was your St. Patrick's Day weekend? Did you do anything special? My dad was in town and took us out for sushi last night. Not exactly a St. Patrick's kind of tradition, but it was delicious and we had a lot of fun!

Today we have a dreary, rainy and cold day on tap so I thought a colorful and happy card share would help perk things up a bit.

This My Girl collection from My Mind's Eye is perfect for cheerful cards, don't you think? Love the adorable little red bike!

Cards on Thursday

It's a Bella Blvd. Cards on Thursday kind of day! And a bright and sunny day too! I'm lovin' it and I've been dying to show off my first couple cards using newly released CHA product from Bella Blvd!

This first card was created with the Love and Marriage collection and one of the gorgeous new Feathers. What do you think of this line? Ooh la la, right?!?! 

This card was created with the new Engaged at Last collection. And another yummy feather! What do you think of the new feathers? If you enjoy texture and dimension, they are a must have!
