July Fourth

Here in the U.S. it's Independence Day and Cards on Thursday on the Bella Blvd. blog. To celebrate, the design team has been creating lots of patriotic projects this week and today it's greeting cards. For my two cents it wasn't hard to create some very colorful and festive designs with the All American collection.

This first card combines sticker and chipboard flowers in a collage, accented with a little flag and pretty polka dot ribbon.

More ribbon, another mini flag, a large star die, washi tape and chipboard alphas went into my second card. I do love texture and making big bows helps accomplish that!

Christopher is so excited about our bonfire/cookout tonight and fireworks. Keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't rain on his parade! It's been raining daily here in NC and feeling a lot like a rain forest...very humid! We've got a 70% chance of thunder storms predicted for the afternoon, but it's supposed to be clear by 9:00 p.m.

Enjoy your Fourth!

Cards with Windows

It's another Cards on Thursday today on the Bella Blvd. blog! This week we've been challenged to create window cards and here are my designs.

I used the Silhouette to make this card with lots of little butterfly windows. I also used a few of my favorite Bella Blvd. accents, Flags, Button Market and a Crochet Heart.

This window card was created with a combination of Silhouette and a Spellbinder's Nestability die. Along with the patriotic All American line. Are you a fan of window cards? I think they're lots of fun to create...I want to do more of them!

In a couple hours Dan and I are off to Christopher's school for an awards ceremony. Christopher is in his last week of sixth grade and has done an awesome job. He's been taking accelerated math and is getting an award in that class. We're so proud of him! :)

Have a fabulous day! Thanks for visiting!

Shaped Cards

It's Cards on Thursday on the Bella Blvd. blog today and the design team was challenged to create shaped cards. First up I have this round/star Forth of July card created with the All American collection.

Are you seeing stars and stripes yet? Beautiful collection isn't it?

My second greeting was created with Bella Blvd's sweet Baby Boy line and a card cut from Silhouette...a match made in heaven with those adorable truck icons!

Well, we're working our way into another weekend! :) Any special plans? We haven't nailed down any yet.

Thanks for visiting! Have a lovely day!

Cards on Thursday

I can't believe I forgot my Bella Blvd. Cards on Thursday post! What?!?! I live for this kind of crafty stuff! ;)

So, without further ado...I created this patriotic Peace. Love. Freedom card with the All American collection and some lovely red, stitched edged ribbon.

My second card is a colorful and fun mix of the Love and Marriage line with crochet accents. Ooh la la, I love the texture!

Will you be spending a bit of time crafting this weekend? I'm not sure if I'll be. We have a birthday party to attend on Saturday and I have some plants to pot and house cleaning to do. We'll see.

Hope you have a fantastic weekend! :)

Cards on Thursday

Good day!

With St. Patrick's Day coming up on Sunday, Bella Blvd. asked their card designers create greetings for the occasion.

My St. Patrick's Day cards were created with my favorite Pickle Juice green accents from Bella Blvd. I love green and this shade is so pretty, don't you think?

For more fabulous St. Patrick's Day cards, visit the Bella Blvd. blog.

So how will you spend your St. Patrick's Day? Will you wear a bit of green? Drink some green ale? Whip up a batch of corned beef and cabbage? Whatever you do, I hope you have a wonderful day!

Cards on Thursday

Good day!

It's a great day to visit my blog because I have three cards to share with you! Three different themes with three awesome Bella Blvd. collections.

For this first card I used the Baby Boy line. I adore these soft baby colors and darling little monkey!

My get well card mixes lots of Alpha+Bits stickers from many collections together with a happy yellow chevron sun.

Lastly, I have a Birthday Girl card bursting with color and a fun chipboard party hat.

Working with all these awesome Bella Blvd. lines is a treat and lots of fun! I'm so thankful for being a part of their design team! To see more fabulous card creations from my teammates click here.

Cards on Thursday

Hello!

Getting back to my regularly scheduled Cards on Thursday with Bella Blvd. I have a couple Kiss Me collection creations to share with you today.

Aren't these ice cream cones adorable and yummy? I've been looking forward to using them on a birthday card. How about a Valentine card too?

The Kiss Me line is perfect for mushy, lovey cards! ;) I'm lovin' these colors!

Can you believe we only have a few days left in the year? Do you have any plans for New Year's Eve? We're a bunch of homebodies at the Martin house and enjoy spending the evening in. A couple cocktails with hubs in front of the tree is sounding pretty tempting about now! ;)

Thanks for your visit. Have a wonderful day!
