I Love U

T.G.I.F! Will you have some time to craft this weekend? Bella Blvd. has their Friday Sketch challenge going on...perfect for making Valentine's cards!

To see the sketch and the awesome cards my teammates created, click here.

Next Friday is Valentine's Day...just one more week away! How will you be celebrating? Cards, chocolates, flowers, dinner, all of the above? It just so happens that Christopher will be attending a weekend mini camp so the hubs and I will have a weekend together! I'm looking forward to spending time together!

Love

How about another artsy fartsy love card share today? Why not...Valentine's day is on its way! This card of hearts was created with Bella Blvd's Play Date and Snapshots collections.

And for a little whimsy, I added some Doodlebug Sprinkles.

Have you noticed all the mini wood clothespins I use? They're such a cute addition to cards! They're from Canvas Corp. I used to buy them at Archivers, but now they're going out of business. I noticed this week that they have been discontinued at Scrapbook.com. I better hunt some down before they disappear for good....can't have that can we? ;)

Monday Morning Challenge

Top of the week to you! Hope you had a lovely weekend!

I have a couple cards to share with you today created for Bella Blvd's Monday Morning Challenge to use punched shapes, lots of them! Here's what I came up with...

(Buy Now - $2.99)

Tis the season for love, hearts and Valentine greetings so I created this grid design using Bella Blvd's Crochet Hearts topped with paper hearts cut from the Snapshots and Play Date collections.

For my second card I used a sheet of gray triangle paper for inspiration. Continuing on with the triangle theme I created more and arranged them into flowers topped with wood Bella Blvd. buttons.

This challenge was a lot of fun! Using so many shaped paper pieces on one project leads to some pretty interesting and detailed designs!

Home Sweet Home

There's no place like home for the holidays!

Recently I created this scrapbook page of our home and family with Bella Blvd.'s Snapshots collection.

These adorable sketched houses make the perfect background paper for the theme...

...as well as this Paper Pieces die cut pennant and sticker tag.

Our home is my favorite place to be!

It's where my two favorite guys live and our kitty cats roam. :)

I'll be home for Christmas! There's no place I'd rather be!

How about you? Where will you be this Christmas?

Hello

Top of the week to you! I'm glad you're here because I have an amazing new Top Dog Dies set to share with you called Sew Much Fun Die Set that includes nine sewing themed dies that are sew cute!

For this 'hello' card, I used six of the dies, one of which is my absolute favorite...the scissors! It's a two piece set that you assemble with a brad or tiny eyelet as I did here. How fantastic is that?!?!

I love the embossed detailing on the buttons and the thimble! Makes them look so realistic!

This next card included the dress-form die that I cut twice to create a 'dress' for the form.

The little buttons make perfect 'o's, don't they?  What do you think of this set? I think I'll be using it sew much! ;)

By the way, the pretty papers I used for these projects are from Bella Blvd. The first card features paper from the Love and Marriage collection and the floral paper used on the second card is from Snapshots

Hope you all have a great start to your week!

Thanks for visiting! :)

Love You the Mostest

In addition to fall activities and Halloween coming up in just a few short days...love is in the air! It's always there, right? Perhaps you're celebrating an anniversary or you just want to say "I love you the mostest!" Handmade cards like this are a fun way to express your love anytime.

I started making this card with an idea to pair up some of my favorite Bella Blvd. Designer Tapes and went from there adding a fun new Paper Pieces die cut from the Snapshots collection and dressed them up with some of my favorite Bella Blvd. accents...buttons, a crochet heart and mini flag. I love it! How about you?

I have a busy morning planned so I must run. I have to bring Latte, one of our big fluffy cats, to the vet for a teeth cleaning, drop Christopher off at track-out camp and then head to the grocery store. But I've scheduled some paper play time this afternoon so I can create some more projects to share on the blog with you!

T.G.I.F! :)

Birthday Celebrations?

There are a lot of October birthdays being celebrated, including my husband's. How about you? Do you know of anyone having a birthday this month? Is it your birthday this month? Would you like to see a couple birthday cards I created?

This first card was made with Doodlebug Design's Day to Day collection. Have you seen it? It's quite fantastic! I love the cameras!

This is a Bella Blvd. design using their Snapshots collection. Both of these lines are perfect for everyday events with lots of color and fun accents.

If interested, they're available in my Etsy shop for just $2.99 each!

Have a great one! Hopefully a sunny one! After eight days of no sunshine the sun came out for a couple hours yesterday and now it's missing again. I feel like I live in the north west! I should dig out Bella Blvd's Sunshine and Happiness line and play!!!! ;)

Love You 24/7

What's my favorite paper crafting tool? Dies! I'm hooked! I rarely make a project without them! Can you spot the four dies I used to create this card?

The adorable notebook paper, large heart and tiny butterfly die cuts are among my go-to dies from My Favorite Things. The tag die is actually an old Sizzix die that I've been using for ever and it still cuts like the first day I bought it!

The three smaller hearts are stickers and a ready-made cut die from the new Snapshots collection by Bella Blvd.

You know another reason I like dies so much? I love that they can be used over and over and over for just about any paper craft project I can dream up! That makes them an excellent investment! :)

Before I finish up my post I want to remind you that I have a giveaway open until the end of tomorrow? All the lovely Basics goodies from Pebbles photographed below are up for grabs...just leave a comment here.
