Hello 2014

2014 is on it's way and to help my hubs keep track of the new year, I made this CD case desk calendar.

I had this CD case left over from another project and the small calendar pages are from Papertrey Ink.

I couldn't think of a better paper collection to use for a calender than Doodlebug's Day to Day line?

Day to Day includes so many different icons from typewriters and eye glasses to neck ties and coffee!

I opted for mustaches and arrows...the arrows being a great symbol for time marching on! What do you think? It was pretty quick and easy too! You gotta like that!

Have a great one! Hopefully a sunny one! After eight days of no sunshine the sun came out for a couple hours yesterday and now it's missing again. I feel like I live in the north west! I should dig out Bella Blvd's Sunshine and Happiness line and play!!!! ;)

Tis The Season

Ahhh....autumn! Tis the season for pumpkin lattes, cozy sweaters and gorgeous falling leaves! Unfortunately it's also the start of the cold and flu season! Makes me want to mutter bah humbug under my breath!

Until a cure for the common cold is discovered, minor illnesses like these will be a part of our lives and that's why I keep a few get well cards at hand.

I created this card with Doodlebug's Day to Day collection. With the many cup icons and accents in the line, and the bright cheerful colors, it's perfect for lifting spirits that have been chased away by nasty cold bugs! ;)

This eyeglass design was created with Doodlebug Design's new Day to Day collection. I'm having a great time with all the eyeglass accents included in this line. And you know what? A couple weeks ago when I was at Archivers, I found an eyeglass die set from Taylored Expressions! Now I can create as many pairs of eyes I care to! :) Imagine the possibilities!

Day to Day & Giveaway

I've got an exciting new Doodlebug collection to tell you about! It's called Day to Day and it's filled with icons, symbols, phrases and colors to capture daily life! 

One of my favorite accents in the line are the coffee cups which reminds me of how much I enjoy my morning cup! I created a card and gift bag set...perfect for coffee. 

Looking at these photos makes me want another cup! Oh how I enjoy coffee! How about you? This set is also perfect for a gift of tea or hot cocoa. Oh, how about a get well gift of tea? That would make me feel better!

What do you think of Doodlebug's new Pixies? They're the little coffee stir type straws with chipboard accents to attach at the top? I have a new favorite embellishment! :)
