Fall

I've fallen for the leaf die in Fun Stampers Journey Snapshot Frames die set! Can you tell? Wink.

I had an idea to make a card that resembles the zillions of leaves on our lawn outside. What do you think? Fun?

Anyone have a rake I can barrow? lol

Most of our leaves are on the ground now. It was so beautiful watching them all turn color and fall to the ground! And lots of fun to create projects with all the Fun Stampers Journey leaf stamps and dies!

Leaf Week - Day Five

Good day, peeps! I have one final leafy card share for you to wrap up Leaf Week.

For today's card I created a background of leaves using a combination of stamps from the Lead Me set and several bright ink pad colors.

I love the variety of leaf shapes in this set.

I thought it would be fun to add a leaf peeking out from under the collage paper.

I hope you've enjoyed my parade of fall cards this week and I hope you and your family enjoy a lovely autumn weekend!

Leaf Week - Day Three

Happy fall y'all! Today's Leaf Week card features a negative die cut leaves panel created with the Thanksgiving Medley set.

Once I had my leaves cut out I thought using the Newsprint background stamp on the card base and die piece would create a cool look. What do you think? Like?

For the sentiment I used a leaf stamp and die from the Autumn Time set and stamped the sentiment right on top.

A little Cocoa Powder Gingham Ribbon and Natural Journey twine were attached to the leaf's stem for decoration.

And because I had to add a little something else...a Mini Wooden Clothespin. I just can't stay away from those little cuties!

Leaf Week - Day Two

Today's leafy card design features a couple stamped leaves from Fun Stampers Journey Autumn Days stamp set and two die cut leaves from the Journey Blooms Holiday set.

In addition to leaves I've used various other stamps to make the background.

The chevron pattern was created with one of the new Journey Media stencils and Splashes.

I wish you could see the sparkle of the Splash.

The smaller die cut leaves were rubbed with ink pads to make the veins on the leaves stand out....aren't they pretty? This was such a fun card to make with the various stamps, inks and spray.

Leaf Week - Day One

Last week welcomed in autumn and I found myself drawn to creating cards with falling leaves. Funny how that works....so I thought I'd take my leafy creations and share them with you this week and call it Leaf Week.

For today's card, I created a stamped background using Fun Stampers Journey's Thanksgiving Medley stamp set.

The sentiment was also created with the same set, but those big beautiful leaves are part of the Autumn Time set. Swoon. Oh, how I love falling leaves!

That circle of pretty patterned paper is from the Holiday Mini Catalog called Autumn Days Prints.

Now I want to stamp that little jam jar, ear of corn and acorn on Whip Cream card stock to paint them in with the Fusion Blender solution and re-inkers. They would be so fun to color!

Count Your Blessings

T.G.I.F! I have another autumn card to share with you today that features some gorgeous leaf stamps from Fun Stampers Journey. The set is called Autumn Days and these leaves are beautifully detailed and so fun to create with.

As you can see, I simply stamped my Oatmeal Cookie card base with the leaves and then topped them with a couple that I painted with re-inkers and Fusion Blending solution.

Because of the detailing of these images, painting is pretty easy; no need to do shading.

For the sentiment I used the Give Thanks stamp set and attached the tag to the card with a Mini Wooden Clothespin and some Natural Journey Twine. Simple and easy with lovely results, don't you think?

Thankful

It sure doesn't feel like fall yet here in North Carolina. It was 74 degrees out first thing in the morning and humid from the thunderstorms and rain that rolled through in the middle of the night.

Autumn will be making its way shortly giving us a little indoor craft time to make cards like this one created with Fun Stampers Journey Great Harvest stamp set.

I really love all the sentiments in this set with their unique fonts and it was fun to stamp them in various fall colors for this collage design.

The Cocoa Powder gingham ribbon is perfect for the season, giving this card a homespun feel.

I created the bottom portion of the greeting with the Petal Wall embossing folder and a bit of Buttercream ink smeared over the top. So...what would you do with these stamps? I think they would also look great on a autumn themed scrapbook page! :)

World Card Making Day

I'm happy to live in a world where we celebrate the little things like card making! I love creating these little works of art and sharing them with you! And today at Bella Blvd. we're celebrating World Cardmaking Day with card creations posted all day long!

Since this is the first week of fall, I thought I'd use Bella Blvd's new Hello Autumn collection for my card. Rich colors, leaves and burlap are some of my fall favorites that I combined to create this design. Looking at this card makes me want to go apple picking, corn maze wondering or to the pumpkin patch...all of which are currently happening here in North Carolina. Ahh....fall!

Happy Fall Y'all!

It's the first day of fall and the perfect time to share this Give Thanks card I created with the latest from Reverse Confetti

There was no denying that fall was just days when I went to the grocery store last week. The front of the store was lined with mums and the peaches and plumbs were replaced by pears. There were sunflowers in the floral department and more apple varieties to choose from. Ahhhhh.....autumn!

I love the new Give Thanks Label Confetti Cut...the two layers, the shape....and I bet they would be perfect for to/from tags!

Love that herringbone texture? Makes me think of warm fall sweaters!

Fall Favorites on Pinterest

Hello!

It's a fall kind of day here in North Carolina with cloudy skies, rain on the way and every time a breeze picks up, leaves come showering down. I love driving when the leaves rain down on top of the car and swirl about all over the streets!

Since I'm in a fall kind of mood, I thought I would share some of my favorite autumn picks from Pinterest.

Speaking of driving in falling leaves...isn't this flickr photo gorgeous?

Oh my what a lovely country scene of New England in autumn from We Heart It. I think I'd enjoy living in that country cottage!

There are dozens and dozens of pumpkin recipes from making your own Starbuck's pumpkin spice lattes and scones to these yummy Pumpkin Cookies with Carmel Frosting from Let's Dish.

If you're in need of some Halloween decoration inspiration...how about this awesome looking ghost? I love how raggedy he is! There's a step-by-step tutorial for making this spook-tacular ghost at You Craft Me Up.

Or maybe you're looking for Thanksgiving table scape ideas? There's oodles to choose from like this gorgeous table from Marriage to Motherhood.

Fall is a fabulous time for creating scrapbook pages of your trip to the patch or pumpkin carving! I love this scrapbook page and design by Vivian Masket from the Bella Blvd. blog. Those flags she created at the top of her page are so cool!

How about crafting up something creepy goodies with the kiddos? Eek! How about these Spider Pops from House of Baby Piranha? Too cool!

What do you think? If you like my picks, you can find more on my Pinterest boards by clicking the Pinterest button on the right side of my blog. Warning:  It's highly addictive and a whole lot of fun!

Hope you have a great day! :)
