Happy Thanksgiving

Popping in to wish all of you a lovely Thanksgiving day!

For the occasion I created this clean and simple Fun Stampers Journey card for you using a couple of my favorite leaf dies from the Autumn Days and Snapshot Frames sets.

That fun dotty background was made with the Linked Dots background stamp...first time getting it all inked up and I loving it!

Also fun to play with are the Silks! A little Citrus Cooler and Cranberry Bliss gives this card the perfect splash of color.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope it's a beautiful day!

Hearty Thanksgiving

One of my favorite things about Thanksgiving is pumpkin pie! I love it! With lots and lots of whipped cream on top!

In honor of this traditional Thanksgiving dessert I created this Fun Stampers Journey pumpkin card.

These pretty pumpkins were made with two stamps sets....Gobble Gobble and Ghostly Haunts.

This will be the first Thanksgiving that I bake a vegan version of pumpkin pie. I sure hope it tastes as good as the 'real' thing! We'll see. So far I've had a lot of success with vegan recipes.

Happy Thanksgiving week all!

Gobble Gobble!

It's Thanksgiving week so yesterday I couldn't resist pulling out this adorable turkey stamp from Fun Stampers Journey Gobble Gobble set and my re-inkers for a coloring session.

Ack...he's one fine bird!

It was a lot of fun painting all his tail feathers in different colors.

Hope you enjoy this Thanksgiving week!

Giving Thanks

How about Thanksgiving card share today? This one has pretty leaves and acorns...created with Fun Stampers Journey Grateful Heart and Thanksgiving Medley stamp sets.

I added a few splatters of Silk to the background. I love how they allow me to add just a touch of color!

Look at the green leaf....aren't the details fabulous?!?! The die actually cuts the veins of the leaves making them looks so real! I'm going to have to use that die more!

Hope you're enjoying this fall season and have a happy Thanksgiving day! Coming soon.

Leaf Week - Day Five

Good day, peeps! I have one final leafy card share for you to wrap up Leaf Week.

For today's card I created a background of leaves using a combination of stamps from the Lead Me set and several bright ink pad colors.

I love the variety of leaf shapes in this set.

I thought it would be fun to add a leaf peeking out from under the collage paper.

I hope you've enjoyed my parade of fall cards this week and I hope you and your family enjoy a lovely autumn weekend!

Leaf Week - Day Three

Happy fall y'all! Today's Leaf Week card features a negative die cut leaves panel created with the Thanksgiving Medley set.

Once I had my leaves cut out I thought using the Newsprint background stamp on the card base and die piece would create a cool look. What do you think? Like?

For the sentiment I used a leaf stamp and die from the Autumn Time set and stamped the sentiment right on top.

A little Cocoa Powder Gingham Ribbon and Natural Journey twine were attached to the leaf's stem for decoration.

And because I had to add a little something else...a Mini Wooden Clothespin. I just can't stay away from those little cuties!

Leaf Week - Day One

Last week welcomed in autumn and I found myself drawn to creating cards with falling leaves. Funny how that works....so I thought I'd take my leafy creations and share them with you this week and call it Leaf Week.

For today's card, I created a stamped background using Fun Stampers Journey's Thanksgiving Medley stamp set.

The sentiment was also created with the same set, but those big beautiful leaves are part of the Autumn Time set. Swoon. Oh, how I love falling leaves!

That circle of pretty patterned paper is from the Holiday Mini Catalog called Autumn Days Prints.

Now I want to stamp that little jam jar, ear of corn and acorn on Whip Cream card stock to paint them in with the Fusion Blender solution and re-inkers. They would be so fun to color!

Bountiful Blessings

Yesterday while I was updating my gallery I came across a Reverse Confetti Thanksgiving card I forgot to share with you. I guess that's what happens when you create lots and lots of cards! ;)

Anyway, recently while rummaging through my scrap paper tub I found this pretty circle patterned paper and thought it was just too awesome to pass up. I didn't want to cover up too much of the design so I simply stamped a Reverse Confetti Give Thanks sentiment on the Give Thanks Label Confetti Cuts and added the tiny die cut bow from the Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts.

I love using white ink on black paper to create a chalkboard looking accent. This card was so simple to make and eye catching with those colorful patterned circles.

Thankful

I took a stroll through Doodlebug memory lane the other day when I broke out the Happy Harvest collection from last fall. Isn't it colorful and fun and that squirrel with the acorn...too stinkin' cute!?!?!

I have so much to be thankful for! I could write long long lists! There's not a day that goes by that I don't appreciate every little thing...from a healthy breakfast in the morning all the way through to the end of the day when I get to curl up in a nice warm bed and my family is healthy and safe!

Blessings

I'm starting the week off with a quick and easy card creation that I made with Reverse Confetti's new Triple Chevies Confetti Cuts. Chevrons continue to be just as popular as ever and these are the perfect size for A2 greetings.

If you're a chevron fan, be sure and check out all the new release projects from Reverse Confetti last week. My teammates came up with some really awesome and creative ways to use these dies!
