World Card Making Day

I'm happy to live in a world where we celebrate the little things like card making! I love creating these little works of art and sharing them with you! And today at Bella Blvd. we're celebrating World Cardmaking Day with card creations posted all day long!

Since this is the first week of fall, I thought I'd use Bella Blvd's new Hello Autumn collection for my card. Rich colors, leaves and burlap are some of my fall favorites that I combined to create this design. Looking at this card makes me want to go apple picking, corn maze wondering or to the pumpkin patch...all of which are currently happening here in North Carolina. Ahh....fall!

It's World Card Making Day and at Bella Blvd. the design team will be sharing two cards every hour for the next twelve hours...and there's a giveaway too!

At some point during the day this Frightful card will appear. I created it with the new Bella Blvd. Trick or Treat collection. My favorite paper in the line is Owlween! These funny little critters look like a cross between bats and owls. Eek! 

I also have a card garage sale on my Etsy site. All cards are priced from just $1 - $2.99! There are lots of hand stitched designs and some that have been published. T.G.I.F. everyone! I have two announcements to make. Did you know it's World Card Making Day? Isn't that awesome?!?! Bella Blvd. is celebrating the occasion with cards from the new design team and giveaways! Every hour, on the hour, will be loaded with inspiring card creations and there will be some great prizes to win along the way!

Here's my card creation for the event.

I had fun playing with Designer Tape and stitching to create this colorful background.

My card is topped with yummy Ciao Chip stars.

Ooh la la, I love these colorful chevron stripes!

Woot woot!

It's World Card Making Day! Yippee! Time to get out some pretty paper and get your craft on!

It's also October 1st and in our house that means we get to spook out the house! Eek! What a fun day! And in honor of this day, I have a creepy card share for you!

Actually, many of the Bella Artista gals have created cards to inspire you! So when your done here, hop over and have a look! There's also a new product peak for you that I think you're going to love!

Do you recognize these fabulous papers, die cut stickers and alphas? Yep, they're from the 'Too Cute to Spook' collection from Bella Blvd!

In addition to these cool and colorful Halloween papers and accents, I used a die cut button, a scalloped border punch and added a little hand stitching.
