Fun Stampers Journey Ornament

Attention crafty peeps...it doesn't get any easier than this to make pretty little ornaments for the holidays! Created with just two Fun Stampers Journey supplies and a plain glass ornament from the craft store.

Simply fill ornament with Holiday Elements Journey Sequins.

Then tie a little River Stone satin bow to the top.

And you have a festive Christmas ornament!

If you would like to add a little something extra...how about a little tag or snowflake?

Christmas Crafting with the Kiddos

The kiddos will be out of school soon for winter break and to help them enjoy their time off I have a simple ornament project idea you can re-create with them.

This ornament is super simple, oh so adorable and only requires a few basic supplies.

With some card stock and/or patterned paper cut two 3/4" by 6" strips and two more measuring 3/4" x 8 1/2". Once you have your paper strips cut, simply arrange them into a heart shape and use either some paste, a brad or staple to attach all the ends together. It's that easy!

If time and supplies permit, dress up your heart ornament a little as I did here. I added a snowflake die cut topped with a sequin, Sparkle Drop and a Cut Rhinestone.

Happy holiday crafting!

Spool Ornament

I'm at it again! I'm crafting more Christmas ornaments. It's become an addiction! A good addiction. This one is made with a wooden spool and a few supplies from Fun Stampers Journey.

The idea came from this Epiphany Crafts ornament I discovered on Pinterest a couple years ago.

It's super easy to make and a great way to spend time with the kids while they're on break for the holidays.

I think if I were to make another I'd paint the wooden buttons...one green and one red. A little more color would be lovely!

Holly Jolly Christmas Ornament

I've been making more Fun Stampers Journey ornaments and have another to share with you today. There are so many FSJ die sets that can be mixed and matched to create these fun holiday ornaments!

For this one I combined the Star-Dom set, Journey Circles, the lovely Doily and Journey Blooms Holiday set.

The Mini Jingles are perfect accents for ornaments and the Holiday Trio Cord works great as a hanger.

Isn't the holly die awesome? I love that you can run it through your die cutter a second time to emboss! Ahhhh....details!

Christmas Ornaments

Hello! Today I have a Christmas ornament to share with you. Creating ornaments are one of my all time favorite Christmastime activities. How about you? I've been making ornaments for years and often give them as gifts to family, friends and neighbors.

This ornament is made with lots of Fun Stampers Journey goodies, all listed below, including the Holly Jolly stamp set. This set includes so many awesome Christmas icons and sentiments...22 in total!

The background of the star was created by stamping the Script background stamp with River Stone ink and then I used Journey White embossing powder to create the snowflakes. The final touch is some Whip Cream ink rubbed along the edges, giving it a frosty appearance.

As with my card designs, I use a number of die cuts for layers and adhere them together with Journey Foam Squares for dimension.

I can't wait to see how this ornament looks on the tree!

A Wee Christmas Ornament

Good day!

I'm popping in with a festive project post this morning before I go run some boring errands. I get to drop the car off for servicing, go to the post office and get a flu shot! Do I know how to have a good time or what!?!?! :)

At Doodlebug Design we were challenged to make Christmas ornaments using the adorable North Pole collection and here's my little creation.

A couple years ago I made a similar type of ornament using a Bazzill Basics chipboard base that was published in Simply Handmade.

Those chipboard shapes are no longer available so I made my own by cutting and gluing together two thin chipboard pieces and a piece of patterned paper.

I think I've mentioned a time or two that I'm smitten over the Mini Doodle Pop 3-D stickers. Aren't they cute?

I decorated the tree Mini Pop with a few Mini Pearls and I used a Cute Cut tag and some Doodle Twine for the hanger.

I really should have taken another picture of it on our tree. When we decorated over Thanksgiving weekend, I hung this little guy up and it looks adorable!

Do you make Christmas ornaments? If you would like to see more, hop over to the Doodlebug blog.

Have a super day and thanks for your visit!
