I have a yummy sweet candy cane card to share with you this Monday! 

Just look at all these canes! Now I'm craving a cup of cocoa! Ohhh...with whipped cream and cinnamon on top! Yummy yum! 

I used the candy cane stamp from the Holly Jolly set to create the background. Then I painted the canes and gave them a sprinkle of Sparkle Dust for a sugary effect. 

So that I didn't cover up all my pretty painted candy canes, I made a tag for the sentiment with a negative cut snowflake. And for a little more sparkle I included some sequins and Tinsel Trim. Ooh la la!

Yummy!

I have a yummy card to share with you today that's adorned with the cutest little gingerbread men! They look good enough to eat, don't they? 

I felt in an artsy mood and used lots of stamps, dies, inks and even some embossing powder. 

I thought the Journey White embossing powder would make these cookies look like they are really frosted. Yummy! 

Makes me want to run to the kitchen and bake!

Christmas Ornaments

Hello! Today I have a Christmas ornament to share with you. Creating ornaments are one of my all time favorite Christmastime activities. How about you? I've been making ornaments for years and often give them as gifts to family, friends and neighbors. 

This ornament is made with lots of Fun Stampers Journey goodies, all listed below, including the Holly Jolly stamp set. This set includes so many awesome Christmas icons and sentiments...22 in total! 

The background of the star was created by stamping the Script background stamp with River Stone ink and then I used Journey White embossing powder to create the snowflakes. The final touch is some Whip Cream ink rubbed along the edges, giving it a frosty appearance. 

As with my card designs, I use a number of die cuts for layers and adhere them together with Journey Foam Squares for dimension. 

I can't wait to see how this ornament looks on the tree!

Season's Greetings

Hello! How about another holiday card share? This one I created with the Holly Jolly stamp set that includes 22 Christmas icons from snowflakes and gingerbread men to presents and candy canes! Lots of goodies for lots of paper crafting fun!

I used Fun Stampers Journey Fusion Blending solution with the re-inkers to paint the candy cane and present. Then I switched it up and stamped the snowflake with some silver embossing powder. 

I had so much fun creating all these layers and adding lots of fun little accents like the wood star buttons, sequins, glitter and the new Tinsel Trim. 

How about the sentiment? Great size for cards and a lovely mix of fonts! 

What else can I tell you about this project? It was one of those where I lost myself in the creative process and time just flew by!
