Happy Birthday Dan

T.G.I.F!

It's a very special Friday because my better half and the man of our home is having a birthday! Happy Birthday honey!

I created this card for the occasion.

I wanted to keep it on the masculine side and do something a little fun and different.

I altered a Silhouette cut to create the background of Dan's card.

What do you think? It's been growing on me. At first I wasn't sure that the busy striped background patterned paper was quite right, but I'm liking it more and more.

I used Bella Blvd's Birthday Boy collection. You know you really love a line when you make a personal card, can use anything you want and still use a collection from one of your design team gigs. :)

Well, I hope you all have a great Friday! Thanks for visiting! :)

This turned out great! When you mentioned your husband's birthday, I was like, "my husband's birthday is this month too", then I remembered TODAY is my Dad's birthday. Thanks for the visual reminder--I just called to wish him a happy day. :)

(Happy belated to your hubby!)
I love the kraft, the negatives and positives and the patterned paper behind I think really adds to the feeling of movement! Very nice! TFS!
