My first page is a hybrid creation using Wilna Furstenberg's 'Out of Africa'kit. Those of you who visit on a regular basis know just how much I adore Wilna's work! She's sensational...the animals she paints are captivating!
How perfect is a picture of my African Gray Ciera for the 'Out of Africa' kit? Look at Wilna's bird! To adorable! If you like the bird, you should see the scores of other animals in her kit!
I'm addicted to stitching on my projects lately and for this page I did some circle accents. I also printed Ciera's picture on a piece of textured white card stock so that it looks like it's on canvas.
How about that little bird cage accent? It's a die cut from Silhouette. The title in the photo below is also a Silhouette image. I love the combination of cursive and print.
This next page is from another digital kit called 'Kitschen Sinque'by Polka Dot Pixels. I'm quickly becoming a big fan of Polka Dot Pixels and you can see why!
I've been trying a bunch of new recipes lately in an effort to bring a little more variety to the dinner table. This kit is perfect for my new cooking adventures.
I love the 'fresh eggs' accent in this kit along with all the patterned papers! So many fun kitschy details!
The shopping list, cooking utensils and vegetable stamps are also included in the kit!
As you can see, I've incorporated a bit of stitching on this page as well. I used the 'enjoy' phrase from the kit as a template for stitching.
I had a blast yesterday with these pages! I was feeling quite creative! I'm still in a creative zone today so I'm off to do some more crafting....and cleaning my office. I've got the bug to tidy things up! Maybe I can actually allow you to 'see' my office once I get it looking decent! ;)
I'll be back tomorrow with another sneak peek of my SEI Lifestyle blog creation for Monday. Hope you can swing by again! Thanks for you for your visit/comment! Hope your day is relaxing enjoyable! :) Kathy
