Good Day Sunshine

It's spring! My favorite season of the year and to kick it off I have a couple Scraptastic Club cards to share with you today over on their blog created with the Good Day Sunshine kit.

Here's a little peek at one of the card designs. Hope you have a chance to look at them both.

In case you missed my last Scraptastic Club blog post, Nathalie and I used the following Pinterest image to inspire our projects.

This is one gorgeous quilt, isn't it? And here's the card it inspired me to create.

I used the Good Day Sunshine kit and pulled out the same color pallet, triangle shapes and added my sentiment at a slant...all incorporated from the quilt. Oh I'd love to have that quilt for my collection!

Friday Sketch with Bella Blvd.

T.G.I.F! How many of you are going to spend some time crafting this weekend? I've got a lot of projects to work on so I will. Plus we've had a lot cold and snowy weather which makes hanging out in the craft room the perfect way to spend a few hours!

Today over on the Bella Blvd. blog there's an awesome sketch using pennants for a focal point that you can use to jump start your crafty weekend projects. Here's what I made...

Aren't pennants fun! Such a cool way to create lots of layers and texture!

Love is in the Air

Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Even though Valentine's Day is over love is always in the air so I don't ever stash away my favorite Reverse Confetti Valentine craft dies and supplies. By simply changing out traditional Valentine colors, I can make projects all year long for anniversary and so much more!

For this card I flipped through the papers in my stash bin and came across this cloud print. Isn't it cute? I think the colors are so pretty too! Then I gathered a few Confetti Cuts and started to play...resulting in this card. All accents/extras were also stash.

Reverse Confetti SFYTT

It's the first of the month and that means it's time for February's Sketch for You to Try (SFYTT) on the Reverse Confetti blog today!

For my card I pulled together a few of my favorite Confetti Cuts and combined them for this layered design. I pretty much followed the sketch as is with the exception of adding the Give Thanks Label. You know me...gotta have lots of layers!

Final accents include sequins, enamel dots, jute and baker's twine.

Love

I love love love the latest Reverse Confetti releases! Especially the new Quick Card Panels that makes it easy to jump start any project.

I love silver with red and black so I used that as a background for the Quick Card Panel. To accent the card I used a cluster of Confetti Cuts, two of the newest Pretty Panels...Love and Large Chevrons and some Heart to Heart cuts. I was also in the mood to add a couple stick pins. Remember how popular those used to be at one time? What a fun project this turned out to be!

Love Color Chaos!

Today I have a fun and funky card share for you mixing Bella Blvd's new Color Chaos collection with one of the new Clear Cuts from Star Student and a couple of my favorite Reverse Confetti dies.

This was one of those projects where I had an idea, gave it a go resulting in this card. What do you think? I'm still sitting with it. Love the colors...and had a great time playing. I guess that's all that matters, right?

Love

This morning I was in the mood to create so as soon as I got to my office I gathered my die cutter, a few new Confetti Cuts from Reverse Confetti and my scrap paper bin and got to work making this polka dotted, paper hearts Valentine. You should see the mess I made! Oh, but I had fun!

I combined the Pretty Panels Love, Puppy Love, Heart to Heart and Documented Confetti Cuts for this card for lots of layers, accenting and adding texture with ribbon, jute and wood embellishments.
