Cleaning House

Hello! I've been busy cleaning up and reorganizing the craft room these past few days and came across an old Pebbles collection that I love and stopped what I was doing to create this card.  The line is called Lakeside and it reminds me of spending time in the great outdoors, something I can't wait to do when the temperatures warm up just a bit. 

Wood grain, wildflowers, leaves and a pretty little butterfly are all part of this outdoorsy design that makes this nature girl excited for spring!

The official start of summer is just days away and Pebbles' Lakeside collection has been my current go-to line for making cards and scrapbook pages. 

Recently, on a trip to the Raleigh flea market I found a large cast iron pot, perfect for campfires and roasting marshmallows in the back yard. We snapped just a couple photos when we tried it out, none that were spectacular, but I love the one I used for this page because of the close-up of the marshmallow with Christopher and the iron pot in the background. It's so difficult to get Christopher in a photo since he detests having his picture taken!

Posting this page makes me want to have another camp fire this weekend! :)

Another weekend goes down in the memory books! How was your Father's Day? Christopher and I took Dan out to dinner Saturday night for sushi and then I made his favorite French toast for breakfast Sunday morning. We also went on a strawberry picking trip over the weekend...it was a good mix of relaxation and activity. 

I have a Lakeside card to share with you today, created with the latest, greatest collection from Pebbles. I'm really enjoying this line right now since it's perfect for all the outdoor activities we enjoy this time of year. I'll have a scrapbook page post on Wednesday using it as well.

You and Me

Hello! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! Ours flew by too fast, as usual! :) One of the weekend's highlights, believe it or not, was power washing the deck/patio. Ciera, our African Gray parrot, absolutely goes nuts when the water is spraying everywhere! She thinks it's a tropical rain storm! :) 

To kick off the new week I have a Pebbles project to share with you, a card with matching pillow box that can be used for a gift card, cash, candy, etc.

The gorgeous papers and accents I used for this project are from the new Lakeside collection. I really really like the wood embellishments, how about you? And I always love wood grain paper! 

Well, Mondays usually come with a lengthy to-do list so I'm going to get to it! Have a super week!

Hello! 

I've got a special post for you today...a project using a brand new and very cool line from Pebbles called Lakeside. 

If you enjoy the great outdoors as I do, this collection is for you! I went through all the pretty papers and accents and put together these postcards using my favorite pieces in the line. 

Did you get to spend a little time with mother nature over the weekend? The weather for our garage sale on Saturday was perfect, then it rained the rest of the weekend so we didn't spend very much time outside. We went to the California Pizza Kitchen for dinner Saturday night. It was a whirlwind weekend...went by so fast!

Hello! 

I love flowers! I've been enjoying an orchid perched on the dresser in our bedroom every morning while waking up. Hubs gave it to me last month for our anniversary. Flowers brighten my day and make me smile. 

How about a crafty card share with flowers as the focal point? The flower accents I used are from the new Pebbles Lakeside collection and the patterned papers are from Studio Calico's Snippets line.
