Giraffe

T.G.I.F! It's been a little while since I created something with the ultra adorable Tiny Tots collection from Bella Blvd. so I picked one of my favorite critters in the line to make a card with.

I love this giraffe...he's just the cutest! He made his debut when the Baby Boy collection came out a couple years ago and I used every single image and chip accent of him! I was thrilled to see his return as part of the Tiny Tots line. I have a bit of a thing for giraffes. Have you ever seen the documentary Tall Blondes? Very interesting animals. I have a couple bronze giraffes that sit in our foyer and greet us each time we walk in the door. Here's to the giraffes! :)

CardMaker Project

Hello, hello! Today I have a card share for you over on the CardMaker magazine blog and here's a little sneaky peek...

Love that adorable chubby car? It's the latest from Reverse Confetti. Hope you have a moment to hop over and take a look!

Oh Baby

T.G.I.F! I have a couple of baby cards to share with you today. Both projects created with a polka dot theme. Babies and polka dots just go together, right?

This first card was made with Bella Blvd's Baby Boy collection. I never tire of making projects with this little chipboard giraffe....he's so darn adorable!

My second card was created with Doodlebug Design's Sugar and Spice line. Just too cute for words! That little frog with his great big eyes is so funny! Makes me smile!

Do you know anyone having a baby? Both cards are for sale in my Etsy shop at just $2.99 each!

I'm off to go have breakfast with the hubs. He took the day off so we could enjoy some one-on-one time together. I love that he does that! :) Enjoy your weekend and thanks for visiting!

Shaped Cards

It's Cards on Thursday on the Bella Blvd. blog today and the design team was challenged to create shaped cards. First up I have this round/star Forth of July card created with the All American collection.

Are you seeing stars and stripes yet? Beautiful collection isn't it?

My second greeting was created with Bella Blvd's sweet Baby Boy line and a card cut from Silhouette...a match made in heaven with those adorable truck icons!

Well, we're working our way into another weekend! :) Any special plans? We haven't nailed down any yet.

Thanks for visiting! Have a lovely day!

Wood Accents

T.G.I.F!

Recently I thought I'd try using a Sizzix die to create wood tags and they turned out fabulously with no splitting in the wood!

Along with the tags, I used Bella Blvd's Baby Boy collection to create this card. The animal icons in the line are some of my favorites! They're absolutely darling!

Well, thanks for visiting! I hope you all have a fabulous Friday! :)

Baby

Hello!

How are you this fine Tuesday? Have you been out to vote yet?  Here in the Raleigh, North Carolina area, our schools are on a two hour delayed schedule to give people a chance to vote this morning. It'll be interesting to see how busy the polls are.

Well, I have a cute little giraffe baby card to share with you today that I made a while back.

I used Bella Blvd's Baby Boy collection.

This giraffe is my favorite!

I used some Papertrey Ink alphabet dies and some Doodlebug twine too.

Speaking of baby boys...our new little one received a clean bill of health at the vet yesterday.

Christopher wants to name him Oreo. Well.....he does look like an Oreo doesn't he? :)

Thanks for visiting!

Tiny Little Cute and Giveaway Winner

Hello, hello, hello!

I'm popping in a bit late today. Actually, I've been a little late with my posts all week because Christopher is off track and I've been taking him to camp in the morning. Today he gets to go rock climbing. His dad and I think this kind of activity is better than him staying home day after day playing on the computer! :) Anyway, while I'm out I always try to get an errand or two in and this morning I went grocery shopping. It was so pretty out with the leaves at their peak color!

Okay enough chit chat, how about a crafty share?

This is a card I created a while ago with Bella Blvd's Baby Boy collection.

I adore the lion! Cute kitty!

Thought a pinwheel would be a fun accent.

I had to get a bunch of these Button Market stars. I love the color and size....perfect for so many projects!

Before I close I'd like to announce the winner for yesterday's Halloween decor giveaway. Congratulations Christine Ousley from It's My Life blog! Hope you enjoy your frame!

Thanks for swinging by! Enjoy your Friday! :)

Cute Croc?

Hi!

How are you on this glorious fall Friday? I'm getting super busy with some special crafty projects. I can let the cat out of the bag on one of them. For the month of November I'll be guest designing for Birds of a Feather Kit Co! Isn't that cool? I'm looking forward to receiving their awesome new November kit and putting together some fun projects for you! This will be the first time I work with a monthly kit so I'm really looking forward to it and I'm up for a new challenge!

Recently Paper Crafts magazine had a call out for baby cards using cute animals. Did you hear of that one? Did you submit anything?  I sent in a few cards including this crocodile one.

I suppose he wasn't cute enough to make the cut! ;)

Well I think Mr. Croc here is pretty cute, but he just had too much competition with all the adorable monkeys, giraffes and elephants accents available. Poor guy, it's a competitive world!

I created this card with the Bella Blvd. Baby Boy collection.

Well, I look forward to seeing the issue of Paper Crafts and all the fabulously cute animal cards that will be published.

Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Thanks for your visit!

I Love Scrapbooking

To tell you I love scrapbooking isn't a shocking revelation is it? ;) It's the passion behind this blog and why I do what I do and love what I do! And every once in a while I like to create a page about this hobby that's so near and dear to me.

For this page I combined banners and Polaroid photos to come up with this whimsical way to display some of my most recent and favorite pages.

I used a chevron patterned paper background from the Bella Blvd. Baby Boy line and some of their new High Five Alphabets.

Speaking of Bella Blvd, with the exception of one page, all of these layouts were created with Bella Blvd. or Doodlebug Design products, those fabulous manufacturer's I design for! They really come out with great collections that are fun to create with!

Just in case you enjoy reading the journaling...I love scrapbooking! If it weren't for documenting the day-to-day moments, we would forget so many of them. I also enjoy the creative process of designing a page. Scrapbooking is a way to reminisce over our family photos and the moments we shared together.

Well, it's the beginning of the weekend. I hope you thoroughly enjoy yours! It's just 7:00 a.m. as I type this post and we'll be heading out to Volmer Farms to go berry picking after breakfast. We're going to load up! Whatever we can't eat in the next few days we'll freeze for smoothies. Blueberries are also perfect for pancakes and muffins! Oh, you know what?!?! Blueberries are so delicious eaten right out of the freezer! Tastes better than a popsicle and so much better for you!

Kathy :)
