Love You

Hello! Today I have a frilly feminine card to share with you that I created with scraps and stashed away accents. I've been doing a lot of that lately...although you can't tell just by looking at my scraps bin!

I've had these lovely papers around for quite some time and couldn't tell you who manufactured them. They're pretty aren't they The background die cut and stamped sentiment are from Papertrey Ink. The enamel dots are called Sprinkles made by Doodlebug. I've had the ribbon, jute and little heart charm for too long as well...nice to use them up.

What's New Wedensday

It's Wednesday and time for Bella Blvd. projects created with the latest collections, Classic Calendars, Scattered Sprinkles and Summer Squeeze. I have two cards to share with you and both include all three of these colorful lines.

I love the scattered sprinkles collection with it's bright colors and simple dotted design...perfect for dry embossing with more dots!

Need a card for you BFF? I think it'll be a pleasant surprise to find this card in the mailbox, don't you? I spruced up the letter stickers by punching them with a mini star Fiskars hand punch...great use for a tool I've had around for years.

Lucky Starz

Here in North Carolina everything is coated in a fine yellow dust! While the dogwoods and azaleas are blooming our state trees, the long leaf pines, are releasing pollen turning everything yellow...houses, cars, sidewalks, you name it. Coming from California, it's interesting to see.

Today I'm starting the week with a crafty share...a card made with Bella Blvd's Lucky Starz collection.

I remember as a girl, I believed that when you kissed a boy you really like you would see fireworks or stars. I think it was an episode of the Brady Bunch that made me think that! Anyway, this card will have someone's love seeing colorful stars! ;)

Pinterest Inspired

What did we do before Pinterest?!?! Today on the Bella Blvd. blog a few of the designers used this  beautiful citrus colored image to inspire our projects.

Taking cue from the color scheme I created this card with a focus on Bella Blvd's lovely Crochet Hearts.

Reminds me of my rainbow sorbet which sounds good about now!

Focusing on the same colors, making green the more prominent color, I came up with this second card design.

What would you create with this image in mind? I'm tempted to make that lovely paper chain background! It's so fun! To see what my talented teammates created, click here.

Love You the Mostest

In addition to fall activities and Halloween coming up in just a few short days...love is in the air! It's always there, right? Perhaps you're celebrating an anniversary or you just want to say "I love you the mostest!" Handmade cards like this are a fun way to express your love anytime.

I started making this card with an idea to pair up some of my favorite Bella Blvd. Designer Tapes and went from there adding a fun new Paper Pieces die cut from the Snapshots collection and dressed them up with some of my favorite Bella Blvd. accents...buttons, a crochet heart and mini flag. I love it! How about you?

I have a busy morning planned so I must run. I have to bring Latte, one of our big fluffy cats, to the vet for a teeth cleaning, drop Christopher off at track-out camp and then head to the grocery store. But I've scheduled some paper play time this afternoon so I can create some more projects to share on the blog with you!

T.G.I.F! :)

Love You

I'm starting the week off with a card post for you using the Love You More collection from Pebbles.

I love the texture this burlap trim adds and it works so well with this pretty floral paper, don't you think? I'm a pinwheel girl too and have to include them on my cards often as I can get away with! ;)

Well, I've got a lengthy to-do list this morning so I'm going to get to it. Hope you have a great start to your week! :)

Love You

Hello!

Are you having a crafty good week so far? Have you made any cards or scrapbook pages this week? I just received the new Doodlebug releases this week so I've been a busy little bee creating projects for you! Have you seen the new collections? There's four...Flower Box, Fruit Stand, Take Note and Stars and Stripes. I can't wait to show them to you! Also, Doodlebug released their own line of washi. Talk about colorful, fun and just plain awesome!

Today I have a Pebbles project share. For this card I attempted a chalk board design.

I used Pebbles' Walnut Grove collection and their chalk kit that includes stencils. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the red heart is colored with a metallic cream chalk to give it some shimmer. What do you think?

Hope you like. Thanks for stopping by. :)

It's a Mix

Hello!

It's a brand new week! How about a crafty share to kick it off? I created this card with a mix of products from various manufacturers. Some old, some new, some really old.

The vellum butterflies were attached to the card with button brads from Making Memories...those are the oldies. The pretty cloud paper is from Echo Park. The tapes and feather are Bella Blvd. The twine and flower brad are made by Doodlebug Design. The tag was created with my trusty old Sizzix die. Oh and these lovely new wood accents are from Studio Calico and Freckled Fawn. Lots of yum here. What do you think? Thumbs up or down?

Well, let's hope it's a great week! Thanks for visiting! :)

Love is in the Air

Hello!

It's been a lot of fun making Valentine cards this season with the Kiss Me collection from Bella Blvd! I think I've made over a dozen so far!

For this card I created lots of die cut and stitched hearts floating around on a Kraft base. I like the way pastel and bright colors look on Kraft, how about you?

This card is simple, a repeated word using my favorite Bella Blvd. Sienna Chipboard Alphabets. I kept the accents to a minimum so they wouldn't distract from the message.

Have you been enjoying the abundance of projects on the Bella Blvd. blog lately? I've been awed and inspired by the many pages, cards and altered projects showing off the new CHA releases! And this Kiss Me collection too. Tomorrow is Cards on Thursday and I have five cards that will appear! The two I'm blogging today and three more! You'll have to come see the rest. And don't forget to visit Bella Blvd. to see all the creations my teammates have been making.

Thanks for stopping by! :) Have a wonderful Wednesday!
