Birthday Party

It's Bella Blvd's fourth birthday this month so we're celebrating the happy occasion with birthday projects!

I  used the brand new Birthday Boy line to create this festive scrapbook page of our dear son's 10th birthday.

I'm loving all the presents, cake and party hats!

To add a little more party pizzazz, I created streamers with the Bella Blvd. Designer Tape.

Just cut a strip of your favorite color/style Designer Tape, fold in half lengthwise and wrap tightly around a pencil.

Making streamers from decorative tape is a piece of cake and adds extra dimension and fun! :)

I hope you can make it over to the party at the Bella Blvd. blog where there's a lot more birthday inspiration

Thanks so much for popping in!

Happy 4th Birthday Bella Blvd!

Guess who turns four this month? That's right, Bella Blvd! My post title gave it away, huh? :)

In honor of this special occasion, design team members have created some birthday projects for the Bella Blvd. blog this week using the new Birthday collections!

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Bella Blvd, happy birthday to you! A birthday calls for music notes!

And frogs? ;)

With all the excitement of new product being released for CHA, I neglected to notice one of my favorite products is not being continued! Oh no! Yep, no more Miniatures Stickers, like this party hat and 'brother' phrase. I'd snatch some up before they're all gone!

Love all the bright colors and whimsical designs of the birthday collections!

Presents, candles and music notes, oh my!

This 'good times' Silhouette die was on my desk, left over from another project...hey looks good on this card!

If you have a couple minutes, head over the the Bella Blvd. blog for the birthday bash. There's a lot of fun and inspirational projects and there just might be a prize or two?

Have a great day and week. I'll be back tomorrow with another birthday project.

Fresh Picked Fun

Happy Saturday to you! Hope you have some fun plans for the weekend. Speaking of weekend plans, I have a scrapbook page share about one of our favorite weekend activities, berry picking.

My berry-licious page features some awesome new Lifestyle Crafts die cuts from Scrap-Mart.

I think this flourish cut makes a great corner accent!

Mmmmm......looking at these yummy photos makes me want a fresh bowl of berries or a smoothie!

This flower is my favorite die! I love the details and the shape of the leaves!

The title was created on the Silhouette.

Scrap-Mart has some pretty amazing dies don't you think?

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! :)

Escape & Giveaway

Hello!

It's time again for another Little Yellow Bicycle post and giveaway! Great way to end the week, don't you think?

Today's page is about our visit to the Wright Brother's Memorial on the Outer Banks, North Carolina. Have you been?

I thought these brightly colored travel phrase stickers would make a great sign post.

Oh how I love these rosettes and flags! There's a lot to love about this collection! :)

I used a 'Decorative Edge Card Stock' sheet as a journaling spot.

The 'boarding pass' ticket stub is too perfect for an aviation page!

So, how about another giveaway? The generous folks at Little Yellow Bicycle gave me more product than I needed to complete my guest design projects so I'd like to share the rest with you.

To win this set of Escape goodies, just leave a comment from now through Sunday. Winner will be drawn at random and announced on Monday.

Thanks so much for your visit. I appreciate you! :)

You Are So Sweet

Good day sweet things! ;)

I have a sweet card share for you today using the This and That collection from Echo Park along with some of my favorite Spellbinders die cuts.

I threw in a Papertrey Ink Tiny Tag die, some felt and an old Making Memories decorative pin. Love mixing things up and putting some of old goodies to good use.

A touch of jute for the bow to finish things off.

A little hand stitching thrown in for good measure. :)

Hope you have a very sweet day!

I Love Summer

Hello!

Here we are right in the middle of summer. The timing couldn't be better to share my 'I Love Summer' card created for CHA.

One of my favorite paper crafting techniques is hand sewing and this Bella Blvd. Cute Cuts accent from the Sunshine and Happiness collection is perfect for stitching, don't you think?

To match the bright colors of this line, I used multi colored sewing thread to outline the sentiment.

Here's to wishing you a lovely summer day! :)

Friend & Giveaway Winner

Hello! Did you have a nice relaxing weekend? Are you ready to start another week? I have a card share to help get you off to a creative start.

This project was made for the Love My Tapes booth at CHA. I used a couple different tapes, a black/gray stripe washi and the floral fabric tape is called Madison.

This beautiful butterfly card is old October Afternoon. The wood button is Prima, the butterfly die and sentiment stamp are from Papertrey Ink.

I love using office supply shipping tags on my projects.

So, what do you think of the fabric tape? Have you used it before? I really like the texture it adds.

Now to announce a winner for the Little Yellow Bicycle goodies I had up for grabs this weekend. Thanks for all your wonderful comments! The winner is Karen Ladd! I just sent you an e-mail Karen and will send your goodies as soon as I get your address! :)

Beach Getaway & Giveaway

Happy Saturday!

I'm back with my second guest design project for Little Yellow Bicycle! Each year my boys and I enjoy a few days of rest and relaxation at Carolina Beach and the new 'Escape' line is perfect for preserving these summertime memories!

I love the way the patterned papers and accents have a sun faded look!

How many times have you heard the phrase, "Are we there yet?" while traveling to your destination? Too many, right?!?! My husband actually thinks it's funny to say it as we're pulling out of our driveway! What a guy! ;)

Lovin' the camera patterned papers and the 3-D camera and car stickers!

Ah, I can't wait for our next annual beach trip...it's just a month away!

Do you have some special vacation photos you need to get into your scrapbooks? Would you like a chance to win a few 'Escape' goodies?

The generous people at Little Yellow Bicycle gave me more product than I needed for my guest design projects so I thought I'd share with you! Just leave a comment from now through Sunday, July 22nd and I'll randomly draw a winner to win the above prize package! That's it! Winner will be announced Monday morning.

Have a wonderful weekend!
