Sunshine & Happiness

Are you in the mood for a little Sunshine and Happiness? And a handful of die cut hearts mixed in for good measure?  Great, because I have a Bella Blvd. Sunshine and Happiness card to share with you!

If these bright colors and happy patterns don't make you smile...

...then maybe a picture of Oreo on the treadmill will do the trick? Oreo, I think you're supposed to walk or run or something! ;)

Just for Fun

Hello!

How about a little Sunshine and Happiness? Can't have too much of that, can we? This is one of my favorite Bella Blvd. lines!

Is it just me or are you craving a Popsicle too?

Hope you have a happy sun shiny day! :)

Hugs and an Oreo Update

Hello!

How about a hug? And an adorable smiley face sun? Add some colorfully printed clouds to the mix and you have a cheerful little card.

Can you tell what collection I used to create this card? It's an older one and a favorite of mine. It's Bella Blvd's Sunshine and Happiness line. Perfect name don't you think?

Oreo came back yesterday from being neutered and as many of you predicted, he acted as if nothing happened! In fact, he was running around like a crazy beast last night!

Just look at this adorable little face! Isn't he precious? I love his pink nose! :)

Have a super day!

Sunshine and Giveaway Winner

Hi!

I'm in need of a little sunshine today, how about you? Today's the third cloudy and rainy day in a row and the sun isn't expected to show until Friday. To the rescue is the Sunshine and Happiness collection from Bella Blvd!

All these bright happy colors and sunny summertime accents are just what I need when the sky is gray. Escaping to the craft room to play is the perfect plan for a dull day, wouldn't you say?

Another way to add cheer to a gray day is to announce the winner for yesterday's Scrapbook Trends magazine giveaway! Congratulations goes out to Kathi of Design Originals by KC! Hope you enjoy your magazine!

Have a super day everyone! :)

Valentine's Day in December? Giveaway!

Good day!

I'm in heaven! The calendar says December, but the temperatures are springlike at 70+ degrees! I went on a long walk yesterday and plan to do the same today before the cold returns tomorrow. So, while we're enjoying a little bit of  "spring" here in North Carolina, I'll share a colorful Valentine I made a while back using the Bella Blvd. Sunshine and Happiness collection.

I also used a few of Bella's Designer Tape styles and High Five Alphas.

So what's the weather like in your corner of the world? Let me know where you are and the forecast and I'll draw a name from the comments to win these Bella Blvd. goodies.

Winner will be drawn and announced on tomorrow's post. Good luck and have a great day!

I Love Summer

Hello!

Here we are right in the middle of summer. The timing couldn't be better to share my 'I Love Summer' card created for CHA.

One of my favorite paper crafting techniques is hand sewing and this Bella Blvd. Cute Cuts accent from the Sunshine and Happiness collection is perfect for stitching, don't you think?

To match the bright colors of this line, I used multi colored sewing thread to outline the sentiment.

Here's to wishing you a lovely summer day! :)

Thank You

Have you been enjoying Team-Up Week with Bella Blvd. and The Twinery so far? I'm so inspired by all the projects and ideas for using twine! And The Twinery design team is really rockin' the Bella Blvd. Sunshine & Happiness line, aren't they? Did you see the bracelet Monika Wright made? Creative! I just might have to make one for myself...if I can figure out how! ;)

I don't have a Team-Up project today, but I will tomorrow and Friday! Until then I created this card to share with you.

I bought some felt recently that I thought would be fun to incorporate into my paper crafty projects.

This vibrant pink works perfectly with the Bella Blvd. Sunshine & Happiness line! I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background, and a set of Spellbinders nesting dies for the hearts. The doo-dads include some new Bella Blvd. accents such as Designer Tape, Flags and Buttons.

I'm going to keep today's post short because I have another project in the works that I need to finish up. I can't wait to show you!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

You Are Sunshine

Let me start this post by saying, "I love Pinterest!" Yesterday morning while surfing my beloved Pinterest, I came across this pin of a banner made with washi tape!

Immediately my paper crafty brain kicked into high gear and had to make one of those cuties for a card! And as they say, "...the rest is history!" ;)

Lucky for me I have these new Designer Tapes from Bella Blvd. to play with! And they match perfectly with the new Sunshine & Happiness line!

Did you notice I made one of the cloud die cuts with Designer Tape too? I did that by attaching a couple rows of  tape to a piece of vellum and then ran it through my die machine. The neat thing about using clear vellum is that your tape will remain transparent!

The round chipboard accent is Ciao Chip from Bella Blvd. and the 'many thanks' stamped sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Well, I'm off to browse Pinterest! ;)

Springtime

Yesterday I posted a colorful spring-like card in hopes that it would bring spring back our way and it worked for the most part. It was sunny and pretty out, but just a little nippy. So, I'm going to post another and see if it'll help raise the temperatures just a bit. ;)

This card may look a little familiar because I created one a few weeks ago using the letters from this Silhouette cut. I saved the negative portion thinking it would work for another project.

This lovely chevron paper is from the new Bella Blvd. Sunshine & Happiness collection.

And these adorable chipboard accents are from the Spring Flings & Easter Things line. That little pink button is a new Bella Blvd. accent from their Button Market collection. This style is called Pink Flowers...pretty straight forward and easy to remember! ;)

Just in case you missed it...here's the other card I made with the die cut sentiment. For this one I used the new Hello Spring collection from Doodlebug.

If spring took a leave of absence where you live, I hope my card shares will help spread a little shunshine until it returns.

Have a lovely day!

Kathy :)

We Make a Great Pear

Hi! I'm back today with another 'pear' of cards using the very colorful Bella Blvd. Sunshine & Happiness collection! Also, Bella Blvd. and Unity Stamps teamed up to create the 'Great Pear' stamp that I've used as a focal point today.

What a yummy pair of pears, don't you think? I love the chevron pattern on the left pear! I thought it would be fun to play with some of the new Designer Tapes and stamp on them. I used StazOn ink because I wasn't sure if regular ink would smear?

For the second pair, I create a second stamped image on this cheerful yellow polka dot paper and cut it out to piece on top of the Designer Tape. For a little dimension, I added a Button Market style called Pickle Squares. Cute name!

For my second card I used more of the beautiful Designer Tapes, I stamped my pears in a bright pink ink and I also paper pieced one of the pears. This time I used more patterned papers from the Sunshine & Happiness line along with a couple more yummy buttons.

Instead of stamping my sentiment directly onto my card, I made a little tag with it.

What do you think of the Sunshine & Happiness collection? It sure is bright and happy! And I can tell you it's a lot of fun to play with!

While we're on the subject of Bella Blvd, did you know the Bella Buzz April newsletter came out yesterday? It did and it's loaded with a lot of inspiring projects including some from one of my favorite scrappers, Jana Eubanks!

Here's a little sneak peek for you...
