Playing with Scraps

I'm starting another day pawing through my scraps bin to see what I can create with my leftover bits and pieces. Today it's this triangle patterned paper and sticker accents from Pebbles's Walnut Grove collection. Remember that one? An oldie, but a goody! I love those bright happy colors!

Next Level Embossing

Hello crafty peeps! For those of you who are fans of dry embossing, I have a card to share with you today on the We R Memory Keepers blog using one of their Next Level embossing folders.

If you missed my last We R Memory Keepers post I created a fun little ensemble for the Fourth of July using Template Studio along with the Banner and 123 Punch Boards. 

It's super quick and easy, and fabulous looking, to create matching envelopes for my cards using the 123 Punch Board.

I made this dimensional and layered star with the Template Studio. 

For an added bonus, I created a mini banner with the Banner Punch Board to slip inside the card.

Wouldn't this little banner look darling as a Fourth cake topper? 

 

This set with made with Pebbles' Americana collection. I love that big dimensional star and think making several of them for a banner would be awesome, don't you? Gotta love We R Memory Keepers tools! 

Live in the Moment

This morning I was living in the moment when I created this colorful, floral card to share with you today. It's been one of those mornings where I want to start my day with a little craft session and this is what I came up with.

All these patterned papers and accents are from an old Pebble's collection called Walnut Grove. I've been working with this line for a couple years now and it's always fun to play with. Easy too because of the ready made tags and flowers. I just added a ribbon bow and a black button on the center of the butterfly to dress it up a bit.

Playing with Felt

The other day I happened across my felt stash container and realized that I hadn't created anything with felt in quite some time. No time like the present, right? Before I forget for another few months! Ha!

I began this project with this piece of Pebbles' Walnut Grove floral paper from my scrap bin and matched felt colors to it. Then I picked some dies...the 'hello' die is from Reverse Confetti, the 3D flower from My Favorite Things and the leaves are from Lifestyle Crafts. I also added a little burlap because I love how it looks with flowers. The last little accent, an antique ladybug pin. I found those at a local antique store years ago. It's perfect for this flower card, don't you think? 

Birthday Wishes

Often times the first thing I do when I go up to my craft room, before anything else, is to spend a little time creating. I've usually had breakfast, coffee and a stroll through crafty blogs and Pinterest and I'm ready to play! 

This morning was one of those times so I pulled out an old Pebbles collection called Birthday Wishes and created this festive birthday card. 

One of my favorite embellishments in this collection are the interactive tags that you can open up and add a hidden message to. I added a 'let's party' sticker from the line. Wouldn't it be fun to add the recipient's baby picture? 

Cleaning House

Hello! I've been busy cleaning up and reorganizing the craft room these past few days and came across an old Pebbles collection that I love and stopped what I was doing to create this card.  The line is called Lakeside and it reminds me of spending time in the great outdoors, something I can't wait to do when the temperatures warm up just a bit. 

Wood grain, wildflowers, leaves and a pretty little butterfly are all part of this outdoorsy design that makes this nature girl excited for spring! 

Garden Party

This is the time of year I catch a bad case of spring fever and love to create projects with pastel colors and lots of flowers as found in Pebbles' Garden Party collection.

The floral background paper is a favorite in the line along with these cut-apart square sentiments. Isn't this collection beautiful? I think I'll set this card on my dresser so I can enjoy it and dream of spring! Oh so close, but not until a few more snowflakes fall which is scheduled for this afternoon! :)

No. 31

I just realized this morning that October is almost over and I haven't had a pumpkin latte or pumpkin muffin or anything pumpkin yet! Note to self, must fix that! I have created lots of Halloween cards though...like this one made with Pebbles' Thirty-One collection.

Now, I better go put pumpkin pie filling on the grocery list so I can bake a batch of cookies or cupcakes! What's your favorite pumpkin treat? 

Trick or Treat

What is it about Halloween cards that are so fun to make? Ghosts, crows and spiders...oh my! I just love creating Halloween projects. How about you?

Like yesterday's card share, I use Pebbles' Thirty One collection from last year. This time I added a Papertrey Inc. stamped ghost, some colorful orange chevron paper from Bella Blvd. and some Sprinkles from Doodlebug Design. I enjoy mixing and matching products from different manufacturers and using up supplies I've had around for a while.
