Sparkle & Shine

For my second post of the day I have a supper sparkly project to share with you over on the We R Memory Keepers blog today.

Here's a little peek. I hope all this glittery sparkle makes you want to go have a look? I hope so and I hope you like my project.

If you missed my last We R Memory Keepers post, I shared this July Fourth ensemble.

Next Level Embossing

Hello crafty peeps! For those of you who are fans of dry embossing, I have a card to share with you today on the We R Memory Keepers blog using one of their Next Level embossing folders.

Here's a little peek at that project. Seriously gorgeous and detailed embossing, right? Hope you have a moment to click here and view the entire project.

If you missed my last We R Memory Keepers post I created a fun little ensemble for the Fourth of July using Template Studio along with the Banner and 123 Punch Boards.

It's super quick and easy, and fabulous looking, to create matching envelopes for my cards using the 123 Punch Board.

I made this dimensional and layered star with the Template Studio

For an added bonus, I created a mini banner with the Banner Punch Board to slip inside the card.

Wouldn't this little banner look darling as a Fourth cake topper?

This set with made with Pebbles' Americana collection. I love that big dimensional star and think making several of them for a banner would be awesome, don't you? Gotta love We R Memory Keepers tools!

Liberty

Before summer slips away, I wanted to pull out Pebbles' Americana collection for another patriotic play session. Stars, stars, stars...I've been drawn to stars lately! Scroll down through my posts for the past couple weeks and you'll be seeing lots of stars!

What do you think of those silver glittered stars? They've been in my stash for quite some time and I'm not sure why since they're so beautiful and sparkly! I guess I still try and save my favorite trinkets for something extra special. Crazy, I know! I have a few left that I think will work perfectly for Christmas projects, don't you? I purchased them on Etsy but couldn't find any this morning to give you a link. They would be easy enough to make, however. A little messy, but worth it!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

July Fourth

The Fourth of July is almost here! I can tell because we've been hearing more fireworks in the neighborhood. Something our cats aren't crazy about...poor babies!

Christopher can't wait for the big day. There's something about staying up late and getting to light fireworks with his dad that really gets him going! As for me I enjoy creating a yummy meal for my boys and making some fun decorations for the Fourth.

Over on the CardMaker blog I have this patriotic project to share with you...hope you can go take a look. Enjoy!

Made in the U.S.A.

Summer starts Saturday and right on cue we're having our first heat wave! Summertime brings hot temperatures, high humidity and lots of trips to the pool along with Fourth of July celebrations. It's also time to create patriotic projects and the Pebbles' Americana collection is perfect!

Stars, stripes, plaids and pinwheels make this card fun for the Fourth! It was a breeze to assemble with all the cool patterned papers, die cuts and already made pinwheels...leaving me with more pool time! :)

Confetti Cuts

Hello! Let's start the week with a Reverse Confetti card using a couple of my favorite Confetti Cuts, Here We Go and Oh My Stars. Is that plane adorable or what?!?!

I had fun using all the Oh My Stars cuts to make a little window on the side of the card and create a trail of vellum stars behind the plane....kind of like a stunt plane doing loops!

I used the Americana collection from Pebbles...a match made in heaven! I love the way vellum looks when run through an embossing folder, don't you? Gotta love a polka dot cloud!

This angle gives you a good look at the side window and dimension of all these cuts.

Without a sentiment, this card can be used for so many different occasions from a note card to a congratulations card and a dozen others in between!

Hope you have a great start to your week!

Oliver Owl

Here comes summer! The temperatures over the past couple days are making it feel like summer has already arrived! Everything is growing like a weed and the yard is absolutely stunning!

Along with summer comes lots of celebrations such as father's day, graduations and Fourth of July and Reverse Confetti's Oliver Owl couldn't be more perfect for these occasions!

I also used the Oh My Stars Confetti Cut set to create Oliver's star accented flag and used Pebbles' Americana paper collection (12% off on Amazon). Oliver was colored with Copic markers...it's been a while since I pulled those out and it was so relaxing to sit and color!

Hope you enjoy your weekend. I'm looking forward to a nice country drive out to Vollmer Farms to go strawberry picking with Dan and Christopher.
