Eeek!

It appears I've gone a little batty! Ha! Bat pattern paper and little black bats flying around...eeek! I love creating Halloween cards and I had better slip in another or two before the holiday is over!

I gave my bats some clouds and a big bright moon to fly around.

And the sequins...they could be stars, right?

All tied up with Black Licorice satin ribbon and Whip Cream Journey Thread. Because I love lots of goodies on a card!

Have a great October day!

Trick or Treat

I have a spooky fun Halloween card to share with you today that includes a couple mixed media elements...paint and Silk splatters.

I feel an addiction coming on...

...mixed media! I'm in love with the look of a brush stroke or two of paint as a backdrop along with some Silk splatters.

How about you? Have you given mixed media a try?

Trick or Treat

Did you see this little cutie on the Fun Stampers Journey blog last week? That's Christopher when he was just 18 months young! Now the boy is in high school and will be learning to drive before long!

Just look at those rosy little cheeks; I want to shower them with kisses!

This page was created with lots of goodies from Fun Stampers Journey including the Trick or Treat stamp set. I think if I could only have one of the Halloween stamp sets this would be the one! There are so many creepy fun ghouls in the set!

I also used a couple stamps from the creepy crawly stamp set to accent the upper left had side of the page.

Oh so much fun! I had the best time coloring these stamped images! No wonder adult coloring books are all the rage these days...it's so relaxing to sit back and color!

Happy Halloween

Eek! Look at these new 'You're Batty' stamps available in Fun Stampers Journey Holiday Mini catalog! Only minutes out of the box and I had my black embossing powder in one hand and a heat gun in the other ready to create a card! Seriously!

Don't you just love orange, purple and green for Halloween colors? They're my favorite so I had to go with it! Oh and yellow would look awesome too!

There are some great dies that match this set, but I envisioned circles for this card.

I found the perfect sentiment in the Annual Celebrations Stamp Set.

Since I have yet to get my hot little hands on the Halloween themed 6x6 Treat Time Prints paper pad, I picked this square pattern from the Journey Basics Black & White Paper Pack. I really like the combo of the printed squares with the circle die cuts, how about you?

Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween! Today's shaping up to be a sweet one since I've already eaten a dark chocolate covered marshmallow before 11:00 a.m! Because Christopher doesn't trick or treat anymore, I always buy him a couple candies from Whole Foods and I just had to sample the marshmallows I bought him this morning! ;)

Today at Bella Blvd. we have a Sketch Friday card for you to try and I made mine with the Halloween Magic collection to celebrate the day.

I love this patterned paper full of kiddos dressed in costume! Bella Blvd. always has the cutest little spooks! Just look at this mummy boy grinning from ear to ear with his pumpkin full of treats! Too too cute!

Happy Halloween!

What's New Wedensday

It's a What's New Wednesday crafty share day on the Bella Blvd. blog where design team members create projects using the latest and greatest collections. Being that Halloween is just days away, I made my first card with Halloween Magic

This big heart die cut is part of Bella Blvd's Paper Pieces accents. They make putting a card together quick and easy...just a few small embellishments added to one is all you need.

My next card was created with the Hello Autumn collection.

A little burlap and a jute bow a rustic fall feeling to this project.

No. 31

I just realized this morning that October is almost over and I haven't had a pumpkin latte or pumpkin muffin or anything pumpkin yet! Note to self, must fix that! I have created lots of Halloween cards though...like this one made with Pebbles' Thirty-One collection.

How about these silver foil ghosts and the chalkboard sentiment? Oh and the sequins!?!? Love, love, love this collection!

Now, I better go put pumpkin pie filling on the grocery list so I can bake a batch of cookies or cupcakes! What's your favorite pumpkin treat?

Boo!

How about another Halloween card share for this 21st day of October? When I received my first Scraptastic Club kit, it included a set of 'Thriller' stamps created by Kaitlin Sheaffer. Eek! This is a Fang-tastic set!

I love the way the pumpkin face has separate eyes and mouth stamps so I could use just the eyes and then add a mini bat for Jack's mouth. Hmmm...that bat kind of looks like he's got a mustache! ;)

Wickedly Wonderful

I had a great weekend? How about you? I didn't do anything special...just got to spend one-on-one time with the hubs and we really enjoyed hanging out together! After a three day Blogger hiatus I'm back to share another wickedly wonderful Halloween card with you using Reverse Confetti's Cast a Spell stamps and Confetti Cuts.

I love using pennants and lots of color. I've been using ribbon a little more lately which is a good thing since I have more than I care to admit! ;) For this 'bow' I used two strips, made a simple knot and then gave all the ends tails. I think it kinda looks spider-like. What do you think?
