I have some exciting news to share! I've been full of news these past couple days, haven't I? The official design team announcement went up on the Pebbles blog yesterday and my name is on it!
I couldn't be more excited to be a part of this talented team of ladies and get to work with the amazing Pebbles collections! What makes this so much fun is that I love what I do....creating, preserving memories and sharing it all with you!
So, before the Pebbles design team announcement, I was working on a project using my new Papertrey Ink hexagon die. I had been blog hopping earlier and my blog friend Wanda Guess had this awesome card posted. It reminded me that I've been wanting to experiment and play with hexagons too. I also pulled out the Pebbles 'Happy Go Lucky' line because I thought the bright colors and pretty patterns would look fabulous! Perfect timing, huh?
I had to stitch some of those hexagons! You know me and my hand stitching! ;)
I ran several patterned papers through the die cutter for this project which results in a lot of little hexagons so I had to make more than one card!
I think pinwheels and hexagons are a match made in heaven, don't you?
Because one stitched design wasn't enough...here's a second! ;)
I love the layered chipboard flower accents in the Happy Go Lucky line!
Just look at those stitched lines....can you see why I love stitching so much?
So there's my trio of Happy Go Lucky stitched up hexagon cards! Hope you enjoyed them!
Thanks for stopping by and sharing in my news!
Have a super weekend! I'll be busy packing for CHA and typing up some crafty blog posts for you to view while I'm gone.
