Reverse Confetti Blog Hop

The eighth is always great at Reverse Confetti because the entire design team participates in a blog hop packed full of inspirational projects and a giveaway just for you!

If you are arriving from Amy Kolling's blog, you are right on track! To start at the beginning and get a full list of participants, please start here at the Reverse Confetti blog.

For this month's hop we were challenged to create a background using Reverse Confetti stamps and because I've been gravitating towards stars lately, I decided to use the Winning set to create a subtle star background for a sporty congrats card.

If this card doesn't have you seeing stars with all these awesome Oh My Stars Confetti Cuts, I don't know what will! ;)

Next up on the hop is the amazing Leigh Penner! I wonder what she has up her creative sleeves? :)

Thanks for hopping along with us today at Reverse Confetti! Be sure and leave comments at each stop along the hop for your chance to win a $15 Reverse Confetti certificate.

Today I have a graduation card to share with you using Doodlebug Design's new Cap and Gown collection.

Isn't the Doodle Pop cap accent adorable?!?!

Even more adorable is Oreo here! I think this line is the perfect match for him! ;)

Scrappy Shares & A Winner

Happy Saturday everyone! We are waking up to clouds this morning here in Raleigh, North Carolina. How about you? Is the sun shining in your neck of the woods? Do you have some fun things planned for the weekend? I've got some work to do, but I love what I do so I'm happy as a bird with a french fry hanging out in my scrap room!

I have some crafty shares for you today! Would you like to see? Well, that's why you're here, right? :) This first share is a card I made with a fun Ippity stamp I got in the mail yesterday from Michelle. I couldn't resist this stamp because I can make some great graduation and teacher appreciation cards as well as some adorable book marks with it.

Do you recognize this design? It's from my pals over at 2 Sketches 4 You. I had a bit of time to play along again this week! :) Thanks for another fun sketch ladies!

This next project is a scrapbook page I made of my darling husband riding on a zip line that our friends put up in their back yard. They live in the wine country in California and have a beautiful yard with a creek. Anyway, my husband is a constant joker and always goofing off so this was 'typical' of him.

The last order of business today is to announce the winner of the Basic Grey Kioshi goodies. If you scroll down to the previous post you can see the photo of this prize package. I drew a name from the comments left and Vera Yates is the winner! Congratulations Vera!

Happy to have you visit again. Whatever you do this weekend...I hope you create a lot of lasting memories! :) Kathy

Is it Monday Already!

Wow, weekends just fly by, don't they? And this one seemed to go especially fast! Wish I could report that I was up to all kinds of fun things with a bunch of gal pals, but I was just crafting away on some assignments and my new digital stamp designs. How lucky that I get to do what I love! And, there will be a lot of other weekends to get in trouble with my friends. Like buying some decor items for the house that we don't really need or indulging in some high calorie sweets! Can't do these things every weekend or I'd be broke and 400 pounds! ;)

So, would you like to see a couple things I made this weekend? This first project is this hybrid card.

I created this card with a really cool digital kit called 'Love You Rub Ons' by Vinnie Pearce of Two Peas in a Bucket. Aren't these fun?!?! Digital rub ons....you gotta love it! After I printed out these rub ons, I used a circle punch to punch them out and then I stitched them on my card base. Then I printed out half of the rub ons again and this time I hand cut the inner portion of the design only and added it on the card with pop dots.

This next project is also a hybrid.

The digital kit that I used for this one is called 'Bloom' also by Vinnie Pearce. I really like the papers and accents in this kit. There are birds, butterflies, trees and ladybugs. All the things you see in the springtime which is my favorite season of the year!

My third crafty share is another card. This is my 2 Sketches 4 You creation which I'm always so excited to reveal on Mondays! This week's sponsor is DeNami Design. That's where this darling little owl and sentiment came from. This week's sketch is by Kazan.

I love this sketch! Well, I love them all! ;) And I look forward to seeing all the cards everyone makes this week! As for my card, I used two brand new and fun patterned papers from the Dear Lizzy line. I love the colorful fresh designs! The cloud paper is so sweet!

This concludes my crafty shares for today! Please tune in on Wednesday for another dose of  projects! Hopefully these cards have inspired you to go whip up something fun! Thanks for dropping by!
