Bella Blvd. Cards on Thursday

Hey!

Wow, we've had some amazing weather this week! The past couple days were warm and summer-like with temperatures close to 80 degrees and today is the opposite, cold and rainy. A mix of everything!

Today I have a couple of fun card shares for you and the Bella Blvd. Cards on Thursday post.

I got to choose the Bella Blvd. collections that I want to use! I love free-for-all days because there are so many cool lines to choose from! For my ‘Family’ card I thought I’d take a break from holiday crafting, and use the Sunny Happy Skies collection.

 These houses caught my eye … they’re so detailed, colorful and fun! Makes me want to move into that little neighborhood! I’d move into the red house with roof-top patio and shades lined with hearts!

After Halloween, I thought it was time to stash away the Too Cute to Spook line, but I didn’t want to! I’ve been having a good time playing with this line and decided to challenge myself to use it in a different way. So, I came up with this thank you card.

Usually when I sit down to make a thank you card, I start by choosing colors and accents like bright colors, butterflies and flowers. This time, going at it from a challenge to use a particular product, I ended up with a look I would have never thought of. I don’t think I would have used black for a thank you card, but I love the results!

Well, I have a special share tomorrow so I hope you can come back! I created my first scrapbook page using a picture of one of my new sugar gliders! I haven't even had the babies for two weeks yet, but one of them is a little friendlier and outgoing than the other so bonding is moving right along and I was able to get a few photos! The other is still to scared for a photo op so we'll just wait patiently, right? :)

Thank You Cards

T.G.I.F!!!

It's a beautiful, sunny Friday morning in North Carolina! Is the sun shining brightly in your area? If not...how about creating a little sunshine! :)

You know, a good way to spread a bit of sunny happiness is by sending a card to someone! Isn't it fun to get something in the mail besides a another bill or a solicitation? Recently, I thought I'd send Stephanie Hunt, owner of Bella Blvd, a thank you card. I'm a new design team member and when I received my box of fabulous Bella Blvd. goodies to create with, I was soooooooo excited! Now, I know that when you design for a company they are supposed to send you their product, but I still feel grateful for the supplies and honored that I was picked out of so many deserving and talented ladies so I thought a thank you was in order!

Here's the card I made using three adorable Bella Blvd. collections...Family Dynamics, Hello Beautiful and Sunny Happy Skies.

Isn't this little yellow, sketchy bird adorable? One look at him and you have to smile!

You know what? I heard that Piradee Talvanna sent a thank you to Stephanie last week too! Because of all this happy mail, Stephanie suggested on her blog post today that we all send a card to someone. Isn't that a great idea? A card for no other reason than to spread a little sunshine! I love it!

Hi!

How are you? How has your weekend been so far? Any special activities happening today? My husband and son are attending a Lego event today. Perfect father and son outing which leaves me with some creative time and a chance to post a card share for you!

Of all the cards I make and send, I think thank you cards out number the rest.

This thank you card is for someone who brightened my day so I wanted to do the same for them. Aren't these bright colors and pretty patterns fabulous? They are all from Bella Blvd, from three different collections (Sunny Happy Skies, Hello Beautiful, and Family Dynamics) that work perfectly together! I love how all their collections mix and match so easily!

These Alpha Bits stickers from the Hello Beautiful line make great accents! I like to add pop dots for texture and then I paired them with a little heart button.

Tweet little bird, huh? I think he's just darling...love his sketchy design! Those little round alphas are Bella's too, from the Lovey Dovey line. They're so versatile and perfect for card sentiments! I added a few tiny rhinestones to the sprig of flowers on this sticker for a little sparkle.

Guess what? I received the two new Bella Blvd. collections, Winter Wonder and Spring Flings & Easter Things in the mail Friday! You know, those awesome new mid-release collections I blogged about last Monday? I can't wait to make some cards to share with you...there's nothing like seeing new product projects to give you ideas and a dose of inspiration!
