I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! I do cartwheels too! Wink! I created this cool ice cream card design with Scraptastic Club's July 2015 Summertime Rolls kit.

Included in the kit are these awesome ice cream glitter pops that I had to create something with! They're so fun and manufactured by Crate Paper, part of their Poolside collection. Wish I could tell you the ice cream was included in the kit too! 

The ice cream lover that I am just so happened to have a few pints of ice cream in the freezer that I could use for my photo shoot! I'm surprised I had the self control not to eat it after the pics were taken! Ha! 

Introducing Yummy & Delicious

Hello! Today I'd like to introduce you to Yummy & Delicious, a new mini collection from Fun Stampers Journey. Isn't it amazing?!?! And sweet?!?! It's sure to satisfy your sweet tooth and help you make some really yummy cards, party favors and decor! 

Recently I had a chance to sit down and play with these new goodies and created this festive ice cream card and candy cup to share with you. 

Don't you love this pink striped paper? It's my favorite from the Yummy Prints pack! I think I'd use it to paper the wall of a candy or ice cream store!  And how about the adorable ice cream truck? Too adorable, right? 

Included in the Yummy & Delicious set is a die to make cupcake wrappers too! Swoon! I thought I could also make a candy favor cup by adding a bottom to it. 

It just so happens that one of the Journey Circles dies is the perfect size for doing this! Once you've assembled your cupcake wrapper apply a small amount of glue around the bottom edge, place it in the center of your circle die cut and let dry. 

Yummy, yummy! Image creating an entire party ensemble with this line! That would be one sweet party!

We All Screamed for Ice Cream!

Ever since returning from the Journey Blooms retreat in Arizona last month, I've been dying to share my first couple card creations with you ! Today's the day! Hip hip hooray!

These cards were created for a special moment we all had during our Sedona road trip. It was only 45 minutes before dinner when Richard Garay spots an ice cream shop and announces that we're going in! The mom in me thought we can't possibly have ice cream that close to dinner, but that didn't stop Richard! We ended up ordering a few scoops in cups to share! Apparently Richard believes in the quote, "Life's too short, eat dessert first!"

Love these banner die cuts and the array of colorful card stock available in the Fun Stampers Journey line to create with. For a little more dimension, I cut thin strips of card stock and wound them around a pencil to make streamers. Life needs streamers, right?
