Hi!

How was your weekend? Spring finally arrived here in North Carolina and hubs and I got to spent time together while Christopher was away at camp. It was lovely to share a bottle of wine, enjoy the great outdoors and go out for sushi.

Starting the week off I have a team-up project to share with you. Doodlebug and Kiwi Lane swapped goodies and I created this card and gift set with their fabulous templates.

For my card I used the Chestnut Drive wavy borders to shape the green patterned paper.

For the goody box I used the Tiny Floral Accessory set. What do you think? I love the shape of that flower!

I think this set would be great for a teacher gift since it's made with Doodlebug's Take Note collection. You could tuck some chalk in the box or a gift card would fit nicely.

I love these projects! I really think Patricia's shadow box is not only creative, but such a great way to use the packaging that our scrapbook supplies come in! And what about Cheryl's Christmas Village cards? Darling how she used the 'Home Sweet Home' stamp in addition to the 'Night Before Christmas' set! Arielle's stocking was created for a family tradition they have to place surprises on the tree for each other before Christmas morning. Cute idea isn't that?!?!

Digital Doodles Release - Beach Parasol

The dog days of summer are in full swing and so I thought a 'Beach Parasol' might be in order for a little shade from those hot sun rays! I also thought it would be a pretty versatile image since you could use it for baby and bridal shower projects as well as spring showers. Do you have another idea in mind? Well, while you are thinking it over, I'll show you what the design team gals and I put together.

Wow, what a wonderful bunch of cards! Now I want to go to the beach! Or at least outside to soak up a little sun! Although I don't know just how long I'd be out these with the heat. We're in the upper 90s this week with humidity. I think the pool is my best bet! With a pretty 'Beach Parasol' from one of these cards! So, what do you think? Do you have a favorite card here? Attention Cat Lovers

This week's new Digital Doodles 'Fur-ever Friends' is the purr-fect image for all you cat lovers!  This fun little kitty stamp was made with a couple special furry friends in mind, Latte and Java. These pictures were taken in my studio where they often hang out and keep me company. They are brothers and came to us via a couple children in the neighborhood who found them when they were just four months old.
