Sweet Dreams

Sweet dreams are made with Pebbles' Special Delivery collection! Toss in a die cut cloud and stars, a moon wrapped in a jute bow and you have a sweet keepsake greeting!

Oh how I love layers and texture and pretty papers and fun dies! I'm in my happy place when I'm sitting on the floor with all my supplies and tools spread out around me, making a mess and enjoying the creative process!

Here's a photo of the floor after my card was finished. Not too messy this time around since the card came together pretty quickly. Notice those Spellbinders cutting plates? Lots of use have gone into those babies! Also notice the handle on my Wizzard cutting tool? Yep, that's a wrench! My original handle broke so I went to the hardware store and bought a wrench for it! Use it up...wear it out! ;)

Special Delivery

It's been a while since I created something with Pebbles' Special Delivery collection so I started the day with a paper play session resulting in this card.

Love the large assortment of die cut tags in this line!

I added a mini safety pin to one of the die cuts and a little green button to another.

This rabbit sticker is darling...and even cutter with a cotton tail, don't you think?

Lots of layers and dimension...my specialty! ;)

I think Special Delivery is perfect for creating adorable baby keepsake cards!

Crafty Sharing

T.G.I.F! It's been a busy week with all the Reverse Confetti releases and blog hop! Thank you all for participating! Today I have many more projects to share with you from Bella Blvd, SEI and Pebbles so lets get started, shall we?

First up are a couple cards created with Bella Blvd's brand new mini collections. This 'Hello Summer' design was made with the Summer Squeeze line.

This floral paper, Pocket full of Posies, is my new favorite! I adore the way the black background makes the flowers pop and the reverse side is equally awesome with the scripted 'hello' print!

Next up is a 'happy' little card created with the new Scattered Sprinkles collection. It's like confetti and cupcake sprinkles all rolled into one!

These new collections will be shipping to retailers in just a few short days so keep a look out for them! To see more What's New Wednesday projects, hop over to the Bella Blvd. blog and take a look.

How about an easy crafty project perfect for springtime parties? Hop over to the SEI blog to see what I've created for you. Here's a little peek. :)

As you know, this weekend is Mother's Day! Yay! The boys are taking me strawberry picking. I love the drive out to the farm, spending time with my boys and stuffing my face with fresh, organic strawberries and ice cream!

Speaking of Mother's Day, this week on the Pebbles blog I made a simple last minute gift idea for you.

Ooh la la...just look at these pretty papers! Hope you have a moment or two to check it out . And I hope all you moms have a lovely Mother's Day!

Happy 13th Birthday Christopher!

Thirteen years ago today I gave birth to this adorable little nugget! Oh how I melt looking at this photo of my baby! I'm sure all you moms can relate! ;)

Since I already made his birthday card and shared it weeks ago, I thought it would be fun to make a baby card for today's post.

I used Pebbles' Special Delivery collection.

This line is just so precious and perfect for celebrating new arrivals, don't you think?

A used a mini safety pin and some fun die cuts all layered together for this design.

Christopher is looking forward to Chinese take-out tonight and a rich gooey homemade chocolate cake and ice cream! Sounds good to me! Happy Birthday Christopher!

Foxy Cute

I was a blog slacker this weekend! I didn't post for two days and it was nice to have a little break. Instead I spent some time Saturday crocheting, sipping sangria and trying to trick myself into believing it was a lovely spring day while it was cold, cloudy and wet.

Now it's Monday and I'm back to share a Pebbles' Special Delivery card with you...I couldn't leave you hanging too long! :)

I've created a number of Special Delivery greeting cards for you to date. Are you still resisting the temptation to add this adorable collection to your stash?  Well, Amazon is selling the die cut accents to this line at 44% off and the 12 x 12 paper pad is 14% off. It just might be time to do some shopping. :)

About the sangria...I've always wanted to make some and I finally got around to it! I found it's a lot like making soup since you can toss in whatever you have on hand. I used a inexpensive bottle of merlot, a bottle of Izze's Sparkling Blackberry soda, 1/2 cup of gin and then tossed in some raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, pear, apple and the juice of a half lemon and an orange. It sat in the refrigerator for about five hours before drinking. Now I'm dreaming of all the other varieties I can make. Maybe next time I'll start with a white wine and peach soda? :)

Hello Spring

It's the day I've been longing for all winter long...spring! My favorite season! After several days of cold, clouds and ice, the sun is shining brightly and temperatures are expected to reach about 65 degrees! Hello spring! I've missed you so!

To welcome in the new season I created this tweet little birdie card with Pebbles' new Special Delivery collection. These adorable birds remind me of the symphony of chirping I wake to each morning. FYI...this collection is 21% off today on Amazon! :)

We have a couple resident Carolina Wrens living in a nest outside our kitchen window and we're looking forward to watching them raising a new clutch this spring. Here's a picture from last year. They're so sweet!

Happy Spring!

Oh Boy!

Have you seen the latest baby collection, Special Delivery, by Pebbles? It's absolutely adorable and I couldn't wait to dig in a make something to share with you!

I created this layered look using a nesting set of stars and clouds dies from My Favorite Things and a sentiment die from Papertrey Ink.

For those of you who are following my crochet adventures...here's a look at one of my latest projects...

...coasters! I created these with a free pattern from Tuts, a craft tutorial site I discovered on Pinterest. As a beginner of crochet, I found the pictorial tutorial easy enough to follow and I love them! So far Oreo kitty hasn't wrecked any...although he has knocked them to the floor on a couple occasions! ;)
