National Scrapbook Day with WRMK

Happy National Scrapbook (NSD) day to all my crafty peeps out there! Today at We R Memory Keepers, we're celebrating with a blog hop and lots of great prizes for you! If you've arrived from Aimee Maddern's blog you are right on track. To start from the beginning and get a list of participants, please click here to go to We R Memory Keepers' blog.

For my NSC project I thought I'd play with a number of We R tools to make a gift ensemble. My pretty polka dot gift bag was created with the amazing new Template Studio, a 22" x 22" cutting and scoring mat. In addition to bags you can create all kinds of fabulous projects like pretty flowers, 3D stars, pillow boxes and more! And it's so fun to play with!

For the card I used We R's die cutter, the Evolution Advanced. Included with the machine was a set of scalloped rectangle dies that I used to make the frame for my card.

These pretty papers and cork accent are from the Hello Darling collection. I love the fresh colors!

I gave the Pinwheel Punch Board a whirl to make this adorable gift bag accent. Pinwheels are so fun, aren't they? And perfect for so many projects!

Thanks We R Memory Keepers for making such creative and fun tools to play with!

Would you like to get your hot little hands on the cool Sew Ribbon tool and accessories? Just leave a comment here on the my blog by midnight on Friday, May 7th and a winner will be chosen randomly and announced here on May 8th. Good luck!

Next up on the hop is my talented We R teammate, Carrie Walz.

Thanks for hopping with us today? Hope you have a fun National Scrapbook Day!

Welcome to Bella Blvd's National Scrapbook Day celebration! Design team coordinator Laura Vegas challenged 24 of Bella Blvd's designers to create an "All About Me" layout, and answer five quick scrapbooking related questions that will be shared on the Bella Blvd. blog over the next 12 hours. And there are prizes up for grabs! Hopefully all these projects will inspire you the next time you go to create!

My page is all about family and enjoying the little things...like being creative.

I used Bella Blvd's Lucky Starz and Family Forever collections...perfect for the subject, don't you think?

Be sure to check the Bella Blvd. blog throughout the day to see all the projects, learn a little about each designer and for your chance to win some awesome Bella goodies!

Enjoy!

National Scrapbook Day!

Hooray, it's National Scrapbook Day and the Pebbles design team has created lots of pages and projects to celebrate! Additionally, they are giving away $200 worth of Pebbles goodies to one lucky winner so be sure and check it out!

I created a springtime page using a photo of from my yard and the Garden Party collection (21% off on Amazon). I'm not sure what this ground cover is called but it was planted 11 years ago and comes back each spring.

Appropriate for a page about blooms, I used the Flower Packet die cut card stock shapes to accent my page.

And these pleated Butterflies...they're my favorite!

Here's to a great National Scrapbook Day weekend and hopefully a lot of paper play! Good luck with the giveaway! :)
