Baby it's Cold Outside...

...but it's snugly warm indoors and the perfect time of year to create snowy projects like this using Fun Stampers Journey Modeling Paste and Sparkle Dust. 

To create this wintry scene simply spread a small amount of paste over any stencil you like and then sprinkle with the glitter before it dries. 

While drying, I colored this Jolly Friends snowman and reindeer with the Fusion Blender solution and re-inkers. 

Add a sentiment and a few accents for the final touches. 

Like? Well, it was sure fun to make!

This was one of the first couple projects I made with modeling paste and I can tell you it was supper easy! If you've been thinking about giving modeling paste a try...I say go for it!

Snow Much Fun

I have a crafty fun snowman card to share with you today that I created with Fun Stampers Journey Jolly Friends stamp set. 

I think I've mentioned before that this set is a favorite of mine...I can't get enough of these little Christmastime dudes! 

I've lost count of the number of times I've used this adorable snowman on a project! 

I combined him with the Marquee Type die set to create the sentiment. A little patterned paper, Cut Rhinestones, Journey Thread, Silk and Splash make up the snowy fun background.

Hello! Today I have a wintertime holiday card to share with you. 

Have you noticed lately that I can't stay away from the Oatmeal Cookie card stock? Swoon! I've been using it so much lately...so much that I better order more before I run out! Ack! That wouldn't be good! 

Oatmeal Cookie is perfect for all the fall projects I've been creating and then when it comes to snowy cards like this one, I think Oatmeal Cookie looks awesome with Whip Cream ink! 

Another thing can't get enough of...dies!!!! I used four different sets for this card (listed below)! Dies are the easiest way to add layers and create lots of yummy dimension!

Brrrr....we're having frosty mornings here in North Carolina this week which made me want to create a couple Christmas cards and drink hot cocoa!

I haven't made a cup of cocoa yet, but I did make this card that features the adorable Jolly Friends reindeer. 

These cute little red frames were created with the Basic Box Window Plates...great for card accenting too!

Holly Jolly Christmas

I'm not a big fan of winter because I don't like the cold, but I do love the beautiful of falling snow and I enjoy making snowmen with Christopher and then running inside for a cup of hot cocoa! This card, made with the Jolly Friends stamp set, reminds me of those snowman building and cocoa sipping memories. 

To add touches of color to Mr. snow dude I used the Fun Stampers Journey re-inkers and Fusion Blending Solution. To get that really light blue color to outline the snowman in I used Cool Pool....I really like the subtle look. 

I used a mix of stamps for the snowy stamps from various sets for background and a snowflake die for the cards 'window.'

There's that Tinsel Trim I can't get enough of! It's so delicate and I love the bit of shine and texture it adds. 

Lastly, I added a sprinkling of sequins for a little more glitz and snowy effect.

Christmas...it's the most wonderful time of the year! I love everything about it from decking our halls, baking goodies and crafting and so much more! Recently I received some Fun Stampers Journey holiday stamp sets and here's the first card I created using the Jolly Friends set. 

I'm smitten over the patterned paper here that's from the Winter Fresh Prints. I love the combo of Candy Apple, Denim, Pool Play and Whip Cream! 

I tend to use lots of star shapes for Christmastime crafting so I'll be using the Star-Dom die set a lot over the next few months!
