Hello

By the time you read this post I'll be at the Journey Blooms offices in Arizona working on the 2016-2017 catalog with Kim Kesti, Laura Williams and our newest member Erika Hayes!

We all can't wait to share all the new products debuting at convention which will be here very very soon!

Before leaving, I was playing with the Star-Dom die set and created this card to share with you.

I love creating with stars! Hmmmm.....I wonder if there could be anymore star stamps or dies in the new catalog???

I'll be back in about 10 days to share some more crafty fun projects with you!

Hello

It's Peeps week! Ha! Unintentional, but that's what's happened! I just keep playing with and having so much fun with the new Favorite Peeps set! This time I made a card to share with you.

I'm lovin' these pastel colors, how about you? They're so fresh!

I also used the grass Border Details die once again. It's so versatile!

I added a few buttons, pearls and rhinestones scattered about to finish the card. Oh...and that yummy Bubble Gum satin ribbon! This card called out for a pretty bow!

Hello

Hello crafty peeps! Hope you had a lovely Labor Day weekend! Today, I'm moving on from all the Halloween cards to share some autumn and Thanksgiving type designs using all kinds of Fun Stampers Journey goodies!

This gorgeous stamp is appropriately call Cornucopia which is an ATC sized stamp.

I colored it in with the Fusion Blending solution and re-inkers. Getting in some more practice. I could have done a little more shading with the colors...that's what I learned from this session.

I used the Petals Wall embossing folder for the card base for texture and then went over it with the Whip Cream ink pad so the design would pop.

Lastly I added a little heart shaped die stamped with the Little Big Greetings sentiment. I love little tags and sentiments. So cute and fun!

Hello!

Raindrops on roses, whiskers on kittens and dimensional accents on greeting cards are just a few of my favorite things! So...today I have a dimensional project to share with you that features some fun and fluttery butterfly accents created with Fun Stampers Journey products.

How about these butterfly accents? They're easy to make with the Butterfly Prints die set! With an assortment of patterned paper and card stock, make three cuts per butterflies accent. With the new FSJ vellum, I think a clear layer would look awesome too, don't you?

After you've cut your butterflies, stack them on top of each other.

Wrap some Natural Journey Twine around the butterfly's center and tie at the top leaving the tails for antennas.

To keep those wings from flattening, add a couple Small Journey Foam Squares between the wings.

Not only are these butterflies ideal for card accents, but the uses for them are endless! Have fun!

Fun Stampers Journey Supplies: DI-0015 Butterfly Prints Die Set; DI-0041 Journey Rectangles; DI-0032 Cloud Dreams; SS-0052 Little Big Greetings; PP-0009 Going Places Paper Pack; CS-0118 Cool Pool Cardstock; CS-0023 Oatmeal Cookie Cardstock; CS-0040 Whip Cream Cardstock; IP-0073 Catalina Splash Ink Pad; AC-0133 Natural Journey Twine; AD-0084 Small Journey Foam Squares

Playing with Felt

The other day I happened across my felt stash container and realized that I hadn't created anything with felt in quite some time. No time like the present, right? Before I forget for another few months! Ha!

I began this project with this piece of Pebbles' Walnut Grove floral paper from my scrap bin and matched felt colors to it. Then I picked some dies...the 'hello' die is from Reverse Confetti, the 3D flower from My Favorite Things and the leaves are from Lifestyle Crafts. I also added a little burlap because I love how it looks with flowers. The last little accent, an antique ladybug pin. I found those at a local antique store years ago. It's perfect for this flower card, don't you think?

Scraptastic Goodness

Hello peeps! Today I have a couple artsy cards to share with you that I created with the all new May 2015 Janglin' kit from Scraptastic Club and some fun gold accents.

Two of the hottest trends in paper crafting right now is water colors and metallic accents, both of which are part of the Janglin' kit.

Because I love love love the gold Pinkfresh die cuts included in the kit, I added even more with some foil paper I had in my scrap bin.

Love these water color pastel printed papers! I have yet to purchase water colors for my arsenal of crafty supplies so I'm thrilled that Janglin' provides that look for me...without the mess!

Countdown to Confetti - Day Three

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream and Reverse Confetti's 2nd Birthday Celebration! Today's release is the Love & Ice Cream set! Yum!

I'm still re-using a coffee sleeve I got a while back for my cones...perfect texture! And to give my scoops a little texture, I chalked them a little.

To make mint chip ice cream I borrowed a few sprinkles from the Donut You Know Confetti Cuts. I don't know why I needed a straw for an ice cream cones, but it's cute so I thought, "why not?" Now I need some ice cream!

For your chance to win one of two $25 Reverse Confetti gift certificate, leave a comment. Also, please visit my teammates to see what kind of ice cream treats they created for you today!

Hello

I have a tweet bird card to share with you today that I created with one of my all time favorite Reverse Confetti stamps and Confetti Cuts sets called Fabulous Flamingos

I mixed the Fabulous Flamingos with some new goodies like the Tassel and Geometric Background Confetti Cuts. All together there are lots of fun layers and elements topped with a few sparkly sequins. You like? It sure was fun to create!
