Wow, Valentine's Day is fast approaching! Do you have plans to do something special with your sweetie? Have you made any Valentine cards?

I recently received a few more of Fun Stampers Journey spring catalog supplies and had to spend a little time playing with them.

One of my favorite things about Fun Stampers Journey stamps and dies are that every time I sit down to create with them, it leads to more ideas for my next project! I love that! 

For this card it was the Border Details die that I used to make this unique background. I've made oodles of projects with this die set! 

Thought these bots would look cute as a focal point.

Hello! I have a super duper simple Valentine card to share with you that I created with Fun Stampers Journey new Bot Love stamp set. 

I also got out the paint brush to create the heart background. Just one stroke of the brush with some Sweet Berry paint was all that was needed. 

Then I used some silver embossing powder to add the love bot. 

A string for his balloon and a few sequins and that's it! I think this kind of project would be perfect for kiddos. They could make some great painted hearts!

Valentine Beverages

My craft-affair with paper hearts continues today with a fun way to serve beverages on Valentine's Day. I love this kind of party decorating because I'm always trying to minimize the amount of waste I produce and by using Ball jars I already have in my kitchen, I can achieve that goal. 

When the party is over, and if the paper doilies and hearts aren't soiled, I can reuse them for another crafty project. 

Imagine all the different holidays and occasions you make similar jars for! 

To reduce my waste even further I could use the stainless steel re-usable straws we have! They would match too! Score!

Today I have another Valentine project to share with you that I created using more of the paper hearts I die cut last week. 

These hearts were combined to make pretty little flowers. 

They're really easy to make! Simply die cut six hearts in two sizes and two colors of card stock. 

Add a small Journey Foam Square to the center of each of the larger hearts and a dab of Journey Craft Glue at the point. 

Top your larger heart with the smaller one and use a Mini Wooden Clothespin to hold them together until dry. Once all hearts are dry, arrange three together, apply a dab of hot glue and top with a Media Flower.

Once my three flowers created I spritzed them all with a little Journey Silver Splash and attached a few sequins. 

Finally the heart flowers were attached to the Journey Advent Box with another dab of hot glue. Then I added the ribbon and tag to finish the project.

Hello chickadees! I'm sharing my first Valentine card of the year! Oh what fun to create with hearts, new Fun Stampers Journey spring catalog products and Valentine colors! 

 A favorite techniques for spring and Valentine projects is to emboss colorful card stock with white. I 'm smitten with the clean look it creates. 

Aren't these love birds adorable? 

Finishing touches included gingham ribbon, tinsel trim, a Media Flower, and sequins.
