Raisin Bread

Hey Bloggers!

I'm popping in for a scrapbook page share before I run some errands, dull errands, like the post office. One of those things I don't enjoy, but has to be done. Do you try to make boring tasks more fun? Or tell yourself you are fortunate to have such normal everyday problems? I do! Sometimes I'll grab an ice cream cone or a sandwich at my favorite deli as a treat to make my errands more fun. Anyway....just a little rambling here! ;)

This page is about my husband making raisin bread with a bread machine I got him for Christmas in 1997. The machine was on leave of duty for a number of years, but we've pulled it back out and use it a couple times a week. I'm happy we didn't part with the machine because we're really enjoying it now.

For this page I dug into my stash mountain of pattern paper and pulled out the Kraft background from My Mind's Eye and the green polka dot paper from Crate Paper.

Here we have loads of stitching and the use of my fave tools...decorative scissors, border punches and die cuts.

I also added a couple tiny phrase stamps from Papertrey Ink. I really like this page...such great memories we'll have to look back on!

Well, those exciting errands are calling! ;) Whatever it is you are doing today, enjoy, even if it's the post office, dentist, or grocery store! :) Kathy
