Pebbles Goodness

Hello! How are you today? I have a couple cards to share with you that I made a while back with goodies from Pebbles. Have you seen the From Me to You collection?

This vintage chipboard telephone accent and coordinating rotary dials paper are favorites of mine!

Then there's the Thirty One collection...eek! The little witch on this card is my favorite stickers from the line! I jazzed her up a tad by placing a star sticker and a baker's twine bow on her dress. And how about her pet rat? He cracks me up! :)

Don't you just love Pebbles? Can you tell how much I do? Their collections are always a blast to create with! And so easy to produce great results!

Well, I'm knee deep in lots of crafty holiday projects! Just how I like it! I look forward to sharing them with you soon! Thanks for visiting! :)

Baby It's Cold Outside!

Brrrr! The mornings are getting colder in North Carolina and before we know it, we'll have snow on the ground! Speaking of snow...Top Dog Dies has a very cool Snowflake Trio Set (TC015) that's perfect for Christmas and winter crafting! These snowflakes have gorgeous detailing as you can see from my card share.

I also used the A2 Card #4 die (TW004), a gate-fold design that has a lovely shaped flap...another die that will get tons of use! And what do you think about that adorable little penguin? Ya, the one sporting earmuffs! Isn't he funny? He's part of Bella Blvd's Christmas Countdown collection, along with the patterned paper.

Before I scoot and get busy with more projects, I'm in the middle of another project using these snowflakes, I want to tell you that the Top Dog Dies' idea gallery is up and running with projects posted by the design team. And guess what? You too can post your Top Dog Dies projects! Isn't it exciting that we'll have access to Top Dog Dies creations in one easy-to-access spot? I can't wait to see yours!

Have a terrific Tuesday!

Bella Blvd. Monday Morning Challenge

It's a gorgeous Monday morning here in North Carolina! The sun is shining bright and the leaves are stunningly beautiful! All this makes me feel pretty cheerful!

Another thing that floats my boat are crafty challenges like the Monday Morning challenge over on the Bella Blvd. blog today. We were asked to create projects with big sentiments or titles and here's what I came up with.

I wish I had a stuffed version of this turkey...I love his great big and colorful patterned feathers! I used the whimsical Thankful Alpha+Bits font for this card...big and bold!

For my second card I used Bella Blvd's Sienna chip and High Five alphabets for the sentiment.

When using larger alphas on smaller projects, like cards, you can either stick to shorter words or break up the word with different size fonts as I did with this Thankful card. There's my favorite turkey again! He's part of Bella Blvd's Thankful collection.

Speaking of turkeys...I have a number of them to put on display before the Christmas decor floods the house! I can't believe it's already the fourth!

Hope you have a lovely fall day! :)

Happy Acquisition Day!

Today is a special day at our house! This wide eyed little cutie, Oreo, has been with us for a year now! Last November 1st Christopher and I were on our way out when we found this guy under our deck.

What a wonderful year it's been too! Oreo has a whole lot of personality packed into what looks like a little cat. But, over the past year we've discovered he's a lot like a dog too! He fetches, he growls when the doorbell rings and some of his favorite toys include rolled up newspapers, sticks and a lamb bone! Did I mention he fetches? :)

To celebrate our special guy, I picked up this small 4" chocolate cake at Whole Foods this morning. Any excuse for cake, right? ;)

What a difference a year makes...here's Oreo last year, the day we found him.

What a tiny little boy and so ragged looking from being outside in the cold. He was hungry, dehydrated and scared. We gave Oreo a home and in return Oreo's given us loads of love, laughs and endless entertainment!

We love you, Oreo!
