Be Mine

One of my favorite things about Fun Stampers Journey stamps and dies are that every time I sit down to create with them, it leads to more ideas for my next project! I love that!

For this card it was the Border Details die that I used to make this unique background. I've made oodles of projects with this die set!

Thought these bots would look cute as a focal point.

What would you do with these dies?

Paper and Yarn

I have a special Valentine card to share with you today! It's special because it includes three little crochet hearts I made! You may have read in previous posts that I've been having too much fun learning to crochet and I recently found a pattern for these adorable little hearts.

For the paper portion of my card I used my favorite Valentine collection from Pebbles, Yours Truly.

The crochet hearts pattern is from The Party Artisan. They're super simple to create and take less than five minutes. Quicker once you get the hang of it!

This weekend our niece, Kathryn, was here to make Valentine cards with me. While I made my crochet heart card, she created about a million thin metal die shapes! She couldn't get enough of them...just like me! ;)

The week started out cloudy and will remain so for the next few days...perfect time to get my craft on. In addition to paper crafts and crocheting, I've been working on a cross stitch project that I hope to share with you soon.

Thanks for visiting!

Love

Love is all you need. And maybe a lasso to catch him! ;)

Here I go again...crafting more Valentine cards with Pebbles' Yours Truly collection! The possibilities are endless and so much fun!

Polka dots, stripes and hearts oh my! Along with a some dry embossing. Lots of yummy layers and textures...just the way I like it!

Yesterday we were expecting a pretty big snow storm to come our way. As I mentioned in my post Tuesday, schools were closed, some folks decided it was a good idea to pick up a few groceries at the store and then we all waited. And waited. And waited. The several inches we were supposed to get in the early afternoon never came. We did however get a couple inches in the middle of the night.

There was enough snow for Dan to sweep off the deck and stairs before it turns to slippery ice.

There was enough snow to entertain Christopher.

And...there was enough snow to warrant hot cups of cocoa when the boys came back inside!

Brrrrr!

Four Projects & Giveaway

Hi!

You know the saying, "When it rains, it pours?" Today it's pouring crafty projects on my blog! I have so many goodies to share with you! Perhaps you should grab yourself a cup of coffee or tea, sit back and enjoy! ;)

First up are a couple cards I created with the brand new mid-release from Bella Blvd, called Kiss Me.

I couldn't resist making a mustache on a stick along with some hot pink lips for this card. They’re a mini version of the props so many people enjoy using in photos today.

I love how excited I get when I'm looking over the papers and accents from a new line and my mind goes wild with project and design ideas.

The play on words on this 'Just Write' sticker is too clever, don't you think?

Next up I arranged a variety of High Five and Ciao Chip alphabets for this card.

Bella Blvd. has so many great alphabets to make titles and sentiments with.

This 'Kiss Me' pennant is actually from the patterned paper border strip.

To see a lot more lovely Kiss Me projects, head over to the Bella Blvd. blog. My two cards are only the tip of the iceberg!

Next up I have a yummy project using Doodlebug Design's Haunted Manor collection.

Eek! This line is seriously adorable! And so colorful!

Doodlebug makes it so easy to create fun projects with all their color coordinated papers and accents.

I love this adorable ghost, don't you?

For my last project of the day, I have another Halloween card, this one created with a new line from Pebbles, Tricks & Treats.

And guess what?

Would you like to get your hands on this spook-tacular collection?

Just head over to write. click. scrapbook. and leave a comment telling them what your favorite scrapbook trick or treat is.

Whew! That was a long and creative post, wasn't it? Do you have a favorite project of the four? Boy, that's a difficult question. If I had to answer that myself......gee......they were all so much fun to create. I don't know that I could pick one. :)

Well, I hope you enjoyed my lengthy post. Have a wonderful day.
