In the House!

Finally got the new printer! A Canon Pixma iP8720! Looks like I'll be printing a lot of Project Life photos over the next few days...four weeks worth to be exact! Hopefully, I'll get some of those weeks completed to post on Saturday.

For some crafty sharing...I have a couple cards posted at SEI Lifestyle this week created with their fabulous March Cardmaking Kit

Here's a look-see at one of the cards. I hope you have a chance to hop over and see them both. Enjoy!

Iceland

Around here everything is covered in ice...even the ornamental plum tree outside our living room window that started flowering this week when temperatures were much warmer and springlike. Seems winter still has its hold on us!

Even though it's cloudy and freezing, the glistening of ice everywhere is stunning!

For some crafty news and sharing, I have a couple cards on the SEI Lifestyle blog made with the colorful and fun March Cardmaking Kit.

I love, love, love the hexagon sticker sheet included in this month's kit! A large sheet of all hexagons printed with fun icons...oh la la!

Have a great day! :)

SEI

Hello! Hope you had an excellent weekend! Today I have a project share over on the SEI Lifestyle blog for you created with the March Cardmaking Kit.

Above is a little peek at that project...a couple cards with a matching gift box. That cool little sequin flower center was just one of the awesome accents included in this month's kit!

If you didn't have the chance to see last week's cards, here's a look at those.

This is my favorite kit so far with all the fabulous die cuts!
By-the-way, have you noticed the subtle blog changes? My oh so wonderful husband who also happens to be rather tech savvy has been making these tweaks for me. I hope you like. Thanks hubs! You rock!

I'm still crocheting whenever I get a chance and this weekend I finished making a throw pillow cover! I used a pillow we already had that I was considering donating to the Goodwill. It was a nice enough pillow, I just prefer natural fabrics and this one felt kind plastic-ish. ;)

I'm so proud of my little pillow because I'm still new to crocheting, I've never taken a class and I didn't have a pattern for this project.

I learned how to do a basic granny square with this diagram and made two squares large enough to fit my pillow, about 12". It's reversible with one side cream and the other is a light brown. Then with this video, I learned how to connect granny squares.

I used Cascade's Pima Cotton Yarn and a 3.75 mm hook. Now our little pillow feels much softer!

Card Creations, SEI and Jillibean Soup

I have so much to share with you today! Are you ready for a crafty show and tell? First up, this Thanks card I created with Pebbles' beautiful Front Porch collection was published in Paper Crafts; Card Creations, Volume 12

It's funny how I drop everything to peruse this magazine from cover-to-cover when it arrives! It's full of amazing card designs and I'm always left with lots of ideas!

Second, the SEI March Cardmaking Kit is now available and I have a couple card creations to share with you here. And here's a little peek...

As I mentioned yesterday, I'm guest designing this week at Jillibean's Card Kitchen blog and have these cards to share. Following is a peek at one of those.

Whew! I've been busy!
