Playing with Felt

The other day I happened across my felt stash container and realized that I hadn't created anything with felt in quite some time. No time like the present, right? Before I forget for another few months! Ha!

I began this project with this piece of Pebbles' Walnut Grove floral paper from my scrap bin and matched felt colors to it. Then I picked some dies...the 'hello' die is from Reverse Confetti, the 3D flower from My Favorite Things and the leaves are from Lifestyle Crafts. I also added a little burlap because I love how it looks with flowers. The last little accent, an antique ladybug pin. I found those at a local antique store years ago. It's perfect for this flower card, don't you think?

Hi!

Good day!

I have another Scrap-Mart project for you today. I bit of a bonus since I didn't realize I only needed to do three posts.

My focal point, this gorgeous flower die, is one of my favorites of the Lifestyle Crafts Bloom and Grow die series.

I love the beautiful detailing of this die!

I stitched the hexagon background of this My Mind's Eye paper from the 'Follow Your Heart' collection.

The dark wood grain background paper is from October Afternoon's '9 to 5' line. Accents include die cut cloud from My Favorite Things, Prima wood button, Jute from May Arts, Teensy Type alphabet stickers from Doodlebug Design and a Memo Pin from Tim Holtz.

Do you have any exciting plans for the weekend? Christopher wants to spend some time at the pool today. Sounds like a great way to spend a lazy summer afternoon, don't you think? Hope you have a great weekend!

Fresh Picked Fun

Happy Saturday to you! Hope you have some fun plans for the weekend. Speaking of weekend plans, I have a scrapbook page share about one of our favorite weekend activities, berry picking.

My berry-licious page features some awesome new Lifestyle Crafts die cuts from Scrap-Mart.

I think this flourish cut makes a great corner accent!

Mmmmm......looking at these yummy photos makes me want a fresh bowl of berries or a smoothie!

This flower is my favorite die! I love the details and the shape of the leaves!

The title was created on the Silhouette.

Scrap-Mart has some pretty amazing dies don't you think?

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! :)

Birthday Mix

T.G.I.F!

Today is my second guest design Scrap-Mart post and this week I have a card for you.

My project features a beautiful die from the Lifestyle Crafts 'Bloom and Grow' release.

I also used the October Afternoon's '9 to 5' collection.

This line has the best accents, papers, die cuts, buttons and brads!

There are flags too, but they were sold out at my local Archivers so I went ahead and made these two from patterned paper and toothpicks.

So how many of you remember using cassette tapes to record a mix of your favorite songs? I'd have to raise my hand!!!

Hope you have a splendid weekend! :)
