Reverse Confetti August Blog Hop

Welcome to Reverse Confetti's August blog hop. If you arrived from Jean Manis' blog you are right on track. To start at the beginning of the hop and for a list of participants click here

For my hop project I wanted to practice my Copic skills on the oh so fun Later Alligator critter, working on a dotty kind of technique. I love the look you get with it, don't you?

Such a handsome dude with a big toothy grin!

I gave our gator friend a bunch of heart shaped balloons by using a die from the Puppy Love Confetti Cuts set.

For more of a party atmosphere, I used the Circle Garland Confetti Cuts with some glittery paper. Now this gator is a real party animal!

Next up on the hop is Amy Rohl. Thanks for hopping along with us this weekend. I hope you enjoy all our projects.

Next Level Embossing

Hello crafty peeps! For those of you who are fans of dry embossing, I have a card to share with you today on the We R Memory Keepers blog using one of their Next Level embossing folders.

Here's a little peek at that project. Seriously gorgeous and detailed embossing, right? Hope you have a moment to click here and view the entire project.

If you missed my last We R Memory Keepers post I created a fun little ensemble for the Fourth of July using Template Studio along with the Banner and 123 Punch Boards.

It's super quick and easy, and fabulous looking, to create matching envelopes for my cards using the 123 Punch Board.

I made this dimensional and layered star with the Template Studio

For an added bonus, I created a mini banner with the Banner Punch Board to slip inside the card.

Wouldn't this little banner look darling as a Fourth cake topper?

This set with made with Pebbles' Americana collection. I love that big dimensional star and think making several of them for a banner would be awesome, don't you? Gotta love We R Memory Keepers tools!

Birthday Balloons

Today I'm sharing a festive birthday card I created for the July 1 - Celebrate challenge over at Curtain Call.

I love this month's inspiration photo! The glitter on those balloons is over the top fabulous!

I had a bit of a challenge with this card. At first I tried to use the balloons from Reverse Confetti's Monkey Business stamps and Confetti Cuts, but I was Copic challenged and just couldn't color those balloons without getting smudges outside the lines. For my second try I thought I'd use the Scallops 'n Circles Confetti Cuts set to make round circles balloons that I added glitter to. But what a mess! There was glitter everywhere and the balloons looked terrible! lol

For my third try I die cut more pre-glittered card stock for the bottoms of the balloons. Finally...that worked! I love how these chubby round balloons look!

Then I used the same glitter card stock for the sentiment.

What do you think? Like? Fun? Hope you have a chance to play along with me and the gals at Curtain Call. I really like all the entries for this challenge...so many adorable cards!

June SFYTT

Leaping Lions! June already? As many of you know the first of each month means we at Reverse Confetti have another Sketch For You to Try (SFYTT) and I used our Leaping Lions stamps and Confetti Cuts for my design.

To create all these yummy layers I used a trio of my favorite Confetti Cuts...Documented, the Scalloped Circle and the Straight Stripes Pretty Panel.

I can't wait to see what you do with this sketch! Now I'm off to see what my teammates created!

Reverse Confetti's 2nd Birthday Blog Hop

Are we having fun yet? I've had the best time these past few days sharing projects with you created with the brand new May Reverse Confetti stamps and Confetti Cuts that are finally in store for you today! Today is also our monthly blog hop so if you arrived from Jean Manis's blog you are right on track. To get a list of hop participants and get all hop details, click here to visit Reverse Confetti's blog.

My favorite set this release has to be Monkey Business. This little monkey just pulls at my heart strings!

These little cuties sure know how to party!

Another product fave for the month are the Let's Celebrate Quick Cut Panels...a favorite because they always make it so quick and easy to put projects together! And I always love the color combinations!

I paired one of this months Quick Cuts Panels with a couple of last month's favorite Confetti Cuts, the Tassel and Fancy Words.

Project note: to use up my scraps, I took the die cut circle from the first card and added it to the second. Did you notice?

Next up on today's hop is Amy Tsuruta. Hope you have a chance to visit Amy and our talented teammates. Enjoy the hop.
