Good sunny day! Well, it's sunny here in North Carolina after four days of gray. And it's Friday too! Oh happy day!!!

Do you have plans for the weekend? We're supposed to go to dinner Saturday night if the roads aren't icy from last night's snow. It's looking pretty good and I believe it's Dan's turn to pick the restaurant. I think he's wants to try a new Chinese restaurant.

Because Chocolate Makes Me Happy

Hello!

I'm thrilled to hear that my sunny summertime post from yesterday lifted many spirits! Today we're having yet another gray day with a snowstorm on the way, so how about an uplifting crafty idea that includes chocolate?

Recently I made these Doodlebug wrapped Hershey bars for a Christmas project and thought I'd make some 'just because' bars. Imagine someone handing you one of these right now. Wouldn't that make your day? Even if you're allergic to chocolate...they're pretty to look at, right?

I made this batch of chocolate bar wrappers with the Pebbles' Walnut Grove collection and some Thickers. You can easily slide the bars out of the wrapper to reuse it and pass it on. Perhaps there would be a little less road rage if we ate more chocolate? ;)

Well, I have to scoot to the store. I usually do my grocery shopping on Friday morning, but if we get snow tomorrow, as expected, I may not be able to get the car up the driveway.

Sunshine and Giveaway Winner

I'm in need of a little sunshine today, how about you? Today's the third cloudy and rainy day in a row and the sun isn't expected to show until Friday. To the rescue is the Sunshine and Happiness collection from Bella Blvd!

All these bright happy colors and sunny summertime accents are just what I need when the sky is gray. Escaping to the craft room to play is the perfect plan for a dull day, wouldn't you say?

I used the Doodlebug Design "Boys Only" collection and the Silhouette die cut machine to make the folder and the sentiment.
