Christmastime in the City

Good day!

I'm popping in quickly today to share a Christmas card with you that I made a while back using one of my all time favorite lines, Christmas Wishes by October Afternoon.

What a jolly vintage looking Santa! So festive, isn't he?

I layered the chipboard wreath over Santa to make it look like he's holding it. I also added a few mini jingle bells. They make such a sweet tinkling sound!

Well, I have to run down to the kitchen and put a pot roast in the slow cooker. Cooler fall weather has returned to our region so I thought some warm comfort food for dinner would be nice.

Hope you have a wonderful and creative day!

Currently

watching - this little guy run around the house playing with anything and everything he comes into contact with. :)

eating - pumpkin cookies with caramel frosting that I baked this weekend. Yes, another batch because we polished off those I baked two weeks ago!

wearing - pajamas and slippers.

enjoying - Christopher's last day off-track before he heads back to school tomorrow. Christopher wants to watch a movie today...Wallace and Gromit - The Curse of the Ware-Rabbit.

looking forward to - Thanksgiving Day. It'll be a lovely day of cooking, eating and relaxing with the family.

listening to - Pandora Internet Radio, 70's and 80's tunes over the weekend. Steely Dan, Micheal McDonald, Led Zepplin, etc.

thinking about - Christmas. What kind of cards and ornaments do I want to make for everyone.

excited about - next weekend when Christopher goes to camp and my man and I get to spend time together. All three of us look forward to these weekends.

loving - the sunny and warm temperatures we had yesterday and today. Tomorrow is supposed to get colder.

working on - water color painting. I'm in the very beginning stages and enjoying the process and learning.

wanting - to start a new crochet project. Trying to decide on one.

needing - a little kick start to get back into the swing of the week. My cup of coffee hasn't really helped in that department.

How about you? What are you currently doing? Would you leave me a comment mentioning one current thing happening for you?

Thanks for your visit!

Pinterest Inspired

Happy weekend! Do you have any fun plans? Fall activities? Crafting? Spending some time on Pinterest, perhaps?

Have I told you recently how much I love Pinterest? You could say I'm a bit of an addict! ;) So, I was pretty jazzed to find out that my latest assignment from Pebbles was to create something Pinterest inspired. It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it, right? :)

I choose the following dressed up journaling card project from Michelle Wooderson to lift using the fabulous new journaling cards from Pebbles' Seen & Noted collection.

I tell you, these were pretty fun to create and now I have some awesome accents to pretty my scrapbook pages and cards!

I'm still recovering from my spill down the stairs on Thursday night so I'll be spending more time on Pinterest and crafting. Real low key stuff. Hope you enjoy your weekend. Thanks for visiting!

Birds of a Feather November Kit

Happy fall Friday!

I'm thankful this morning for no broken bones! I took a tumble down the stairs last night and I'm hobbling around this morning grateful that I didn't really hurt myself! And I'm thankful for another beautiful sunny morning! Life is good!

Today I have my second guest design post for you using the gorgeous November Birds of a Feather kit.

This kit includes the most beautiful fall papers and accents, don't you think? It really is easy to create lovely autumn projects with!

I think I've mentioned how much I adore the Simple Stories sticker sheets included in the kit? The little wooden house with heart cut-out had to be a focal point on one of my projects. It's just so sweet! To see more projects using the November kit click here.

So what will you do with your weekend? Any fun fall activities planned? Whatever I do, it'll be something low key while my aching body heals. Perfect time to get creative, don't you think?

Thanks for visiting! Have a great weekend!
