Summer is Here!

Summer has arrived! Time to hit the beach, take a vacation and spend a relaxing afternoon poolside. Or create a summery card like this one that I made to play along with all the ladies at the Curtain Call

I love this month's beach side inspiration photo of flip flops and sparkling blue ocean water....so I created a little sparkling blue water of my own with Reverse Confetti's Doin' the Wave Confetti Cuts and a few sequins.

I added a Fabulous Flamingo to enjoy a dip under the bright sun from the Sun 'n Clouds Confetti Cuts.

Because I love layers and dimension I glued a few of my waves directly to the card base and then I attached more with adhesive foam tape.

Ooh la la....look at those luscious waves!

Makes me think of our annual family beach trip. Soon. Coming up real soon!

Happy Father's Day everyone!

Hello

I have a tweet bird card to share with you today that I created with one of my all time favorite Reverse Confetti stamps and Confetti Cuts sets called Fabulous Flamingos

I mixed the Fabulous Flamingos with some new goodies like the Tassel and Geometric Background Confetti Cuts. All together there are lots of fun layers and elements topped with a few sparkly sequins. You like? It sure was fun to create!

Happy Bird-Day!

Hello! Today I have a Reverse Confetti card share for you...a card I made with the new Fabulous Flamingo stamps and four Confetti Cuts sets. Can you spot all of them?

I may be bias, but I think this is the cutest flamingo strutting it's stuff around the paper crafting blogs and sites! :)

Most of the time, especially in summer, I use a lot of bright colored papers and patterns for my projects, but I was in the mood for natural tones. I love the mix of Kraft stock, wood and jute...they look awesome together, don't you think?

Let's Chill

Hello! I have another greeting card to share with you that I created with Reverse Confetti's new Fabulous Flamingos and Perfectly Paisley cuts! When I receive brand new Reverse Confetti products to work with my mind races with ideas and different ways to use each set. The Perfectly Paisley Confetti Cuts reminded me of speech bubbles so I created this card with that in mind.

How often have you been to the zoo and watched a flock of flamingos hanging out together around a little pond. They look so chill, don't they? I also used the largest of the Paisley dies as a little mound of sand for one of the flamingos. She looks like she could be nesting, doesn't she? :)

Love

I'm in love with Reverse Confetti's new Fabulous Flamingos and the Perfectly Paisley Confetti Cuts! They are so much fun to get creative with and I had an idea to make a funky and fun paisley heart for these adorable love birds.

What do you think? I like the way the paisley heart turned out! I also love the mix of green and pink.

Reverse Confetti July Release Blog Hop

We hope you all agree that this month’s release from REVERSE CONFETTI is hot, hot hot!  We changed things up a bit this month and brought you more dies than ever before, but still quenched your thirst for those fun Quirky Cuties with Rocky Raccoon and introduced what’s sure to be a new favorite, Fabulous Flamingo, just to name a couple of the new stamp sets (there are 4—along with 7 Confetti Cuts Die sets).  Today, we are making a final splash with all the new products, and bringing you our Reverse Confetti new release blog hop.  You’ll have it made in the shade once you see all the fun you can have with this release!

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from AMY KOLLING'S blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!

For my hop project, I couldn't resist using the Fabulous Flamingo set and I knew the first time I saw them that I wanted to create them with paper and felt. Aren't they adorbs?

I've been using the Tag Me, Too Confetti Cut on most of my release projects so far! It's so versatile!

I hope you have enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more REVERSE CONFETTI inspiration! Now it’s time to hop on over to LEIGH PENNER'S blog. If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.

A few things before you hop along though, just to keep you “in the know”…
July’s SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY is open for you to play along.  Click HERE for a chance to win.  AND, be on the lookout for a NEW COLOR challenge we will be introducing on July 16th and another way to win!

Celebrate the creative side of you!
