Happy

Feeling happy? It's the week of July Fourth and I'm pretty happy. Christopher has the week off from school and he's really excited about barbecuing on Friday, making home made ice cream this week and playing with sparklers. His enthusiasm is contagious!

Today I have a 'happy' card to share with you that I created with Pebbles' Garden Party collection.

Taking time to play with paper makes me pretty happy too! I dug out an embossing folder to make raised dots on the white paper. I always get tons of use from nesting shapes...like these hearts from My Favorite Things. The paper pad and sentiment dies are from Papertrey Ink. Lots of fun elements mixed and layered together.

So what will you be doing this Fourth of July week?

If you can sneak away to play with paper and glue and want some patriotic project ideas, this week Bella Blvd. is celebrating with lots of cards, scrapbook pages and decor items. Don't miss it!

Cute! I love the papers you chose for the hearts and of course all the great die cuts and layers make it wonderful top to bottom! TFS!
We go to the grandparents who live on the parade route in their town. We have to arrive early, but it's nice to have a bathroom and a cooler place to hang out if it gets too hot (plus no looking for parking, etc.) It's a great parade and fun tradition!
