Sweets Digital Kit

Hey Everyone! How was your weekend? Did you have a busy one or did you get to slow down and relax a little? If you read my post on Friday, you know that my son Christopher got to go away to camp while my husband and I enjoyed some time to ourselves. We all had a splendid time! These kind of weekends are a must! And oh so fleeting!

Today I have a hybrid card to share. It was made using a new digital kit at Two Peas in a Bucket called 'Sweets.' It certainly is sweet with all the yummy accents and colorful papers included!

This kit is perfect for celebrations like birthdays. Imagine the cheerful scrapbook pages you could create with it!

I always use a die cut machine or two whenever I create a project. For this card I used my old Sizzix machine to make the little sentiment tag and the Wizzard to make the focal point cuts. I love that the Wizzard allows you to emboss the edges! Gives the cuts a nice finished look.

Lastly, I scattered a few colorful buttons on my card. Love the interest and texture they add. If you like the half satin half grosgrain ribbon I used, it's available in my Etsy shop.
