Here Comes the Snow

It's still terribly cold here in North Carolina! And tonight we're expecting snow! Maybe we'll have a snow day tomorrow? It would be fun to get some snow to play in if it has to be so cold! We'll see.

Because of the weather, I've been enjoying some crafting time and I'd like to show you a card I made. I'm a real fan of birds and we have two parrots so I really like this new 'love birds' die cut from Silhouette.

Recently, I also made this Valentine button tree. I've seen many ladies post these on Two Peas in a Bucket and thought I'd give one a try. I wanted to load up my tree with lots of buttons so you cannot see the Styrofoam cone base. The straight pins I used are a good quality glass head type. I found that the old Fancy Pants decorative straight pins make a great accent to the tree too.
