A Valentine for the Teacher

Recently, while scrappin' with my talented friend Audrey, I watched her make one of these adorable little heart shaped goody containers and thought it was just too cute and a perfect Valentine treat for my son's teachers. If you happen to own a Silhouette digital die cut machine by Quickutz, they just came out with a template for this project. The patterned papers I used are from Making Memories new Valentine line called Love Notes. I'm going to fill these little guys with some heart shaped Peeps, a lolly and perhaps a few Hershey Kisses. Hope this inspires you to make some goodies for your child's teacher or a special friend.

Sweet Treat

Looking for a sweet way to thank your child's teachers this Valentine's Day? I found these adorable mini, clear paint buckets at the craft store and decorated them with some sweet patterned papers from Cloud 9 Design. I added a chipboard tag and heart along with this pretty ribbon to the handle. The 'love' sentiment on the tag is a rub-on. I think teachers will LOVE these, don't you?

Teacher Gifts

I got this great gift idea from my favorite on-line scrapbook site, Two Peas in a Bucket. I decorated these to-go coffee cups and filled them with a couple chocolates and gift certificates for Starbucks and Target. Cool, huh? I love the idea of giving gift certificates so that people can get exactly what they want or need, but I've always thought it a little impersonal and dull. Well this idea solves both issues. How fun would it be to receive something like this? If you don't have the time to put a couple of these together before the holidays, you can do the same for just about any holiday.
