Countdown to Confetti - Day Three

Hello! Are we having fun yet with all the brand new and adorable Reverse Confetti releases? It's not over yet! On this third and final day we have the My World set to share with you! Imagine all the kinds of projects you can make with a globe...travel, school, miss you...the possibilities go on an on!

I created a love themed card with this new set and included one of my favorite sets from a few months back...Puppy Love.

For the globe I used silver paper for the stand and blue and green paper to represent water and land. Fun huh? Then I topped it with a partial stamp of our cute Puppy Love pup. I love the way he looks peeking out!

Next I used the same set, this time as accent pieces. Our newest Later Alligator is in love so I used the heart shapes from the My World set to accent the card.

Notice that fun chevron print and the sprinkling of hearts in the background? The chevrons are from one of the Quick Card Panels released this month and those tiny hearts are from the Weather it Together Confetti Cuts. It's awesome that these sets combine so well to make such fun projects, don't you think?

So, what are your release favorites? If you are still undecided tomorrow's Reverse Confetti blog hop with all the projects from the design team might help you narrow them down? Or maybe you'll decide you need them all? Ha! And to help you do that, leave a comment for a chance to win a Reverse Confetti gift certificate.

Countdown to Confetti - Day Two

Are you ready for day two of Reverse Confetti's Countdown to Confetti? It's been hard for me to wait! Today's releases are You Are a Star and Posted Note which are so much fun and versatile that you'll have to have them!

Everyone wants to feel like a star, whether it's their birthday, graduation or they're on the winning team...with You Are a Star stamps and Confetti Cuts you can make them feel like a star!

For my You Are a Star project I created this baby themed card. The 'twinkle twinkle' star is so darling for this theme!

Next I have a school themed card created with the new Posted Note set. I love love love this set with its coordinating Confetti Cuts because they can be used in so many different ways for so many occasions!

To make my tiny note, I used one of the dies from the Folded Tag Confetti Cuts. It was the perfect size for the 'take note' sentiment stamp!

So which is your favorite? Hard to decide, huh? And there's still another day to our Countdown to Confetti releases!

Be sure to leave a comment for your chance to win a Reverse Confetti gift certificate!

Countdown to Confetti - Day Three

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream and Reverse Confetti's 2nd Birthday Celebration! Today's release is the Love & Ice Cream set! Yum!

I'm still re-using a coffee sleeve I got a while back for my cones...perfect texture! And to give my scoops a little texture, I chalked them a little.

To make mint chip ice cream I borrowed a few sprinkles from the Donut You Know Confetti Cuts. I don't know why I needed a straw for an ice cream cones, but it's cute so I thought, "why not?" Now I need some ice cream!

Countdown to Confetti - Day Two

I'ts day two of Countdown to Confetti May birthday release! Today we are sharing two new Reverse Confetti sets called Circle Sentiments and God is Good.

As a card maker I can always use sentiments and the new Circle Sentiments contain seven phrases I'm sure to use over and over again, like this new baby one.

Additionally, there's a Circle Sentiment Scalloped Circle Confetti Cut to match. For this card design I used it to create a window in my card.

Next up, God is Good.

The background of my card was created by cutting strips of card stock in neutral tones, taping them together on the back and then cutting them into a rectangle. I added a doily, ribbon, vellum, jute and buttons to create lots of layers and texture with my sentiment stamped on top of the background layer.

Seems I'm in a button mood lately with these two cards! Love buttons...such a versatile accent.

For your chance to win a Reverse Confetti gift certificate, leave some love. Also, don't forget to visit my teammates' blogs for more inspiration and a greater chance to win those gift certificates!
