You Win Some, You Lose Some

Hi!

Recently I created this scrapbook page for a Creating Keepsakes magazine pub call, but it didn't get picked up. Too bad because last month our cat Latte was in the magazine and Java wanted his 15 minutes of fame too! ;)

I used the festive Christmas Wishes line from Bella Blvd. for my page. All the reindeer are perfect for the subject...our traditional wearing of the antlers! I adore this photo and page and will love seeing it in our albums years from now. Good stuff!

Have a super day! :)

Special Delivery

Hello!

Yesterday I was creating a scrapbook page with the Christmas Wishes collection from October Afternoon and before I put things away I made this Christmas card for you.

I never get tired of creating with this line! There's so much to love about it...so many awesome accents and vintage images. What a dream-come-true it would be to design for OA! Who knows....maybe someday? A girl can dream, right? :)

Thanks for stopping in! Have a wonderful Friday!

Cards on Thursday

Hi!

It's time once again for Cards on Thursday and 'tis the season to get creative with Bella Blvd's Christmas Wishes collection. My first card combines a few favorites, tags, Kraft stock and negative die cuts.

I love these bright and festive colors and patterns! For my second card I pulled out the Designer Tape and Ciao Chip alphabets.

Oh what fun! I like how the two cards look together, how about you? For more stunning cards from my teammates, hop over to the Bella Blvd. blog. You're sure to be inspired! I was!

Christmastime in the City

Good day!

I'm popping in quickly today to share a Christmas card with you that I made a while back using one of my all time favorite lines, Christmas Wishes by October Afternoon.

What a jolly vintage looking Santa! So festive, isn't he?

I layered the chipboard wreath over Santa to make it look like he's holding it. I also added a few mini jingle bells. They make such a sweet tinkling sound!

Well, I have to run down to the kitchen and put a pot roast in the slow cooker. Cooler fall weather has returned to our region so I thought some warm comfort food for dinner would be nice.

Hope you have a wonderful and creative day!

Gift Bag & Giveaway

Hi!

Brrrr....it's chilly here in North Carolina this morning! Our normal high is supposed to be in the mid 70s, but it only reached 50 degrees yesterday! So, our heater kicked on, I made a cup of cocoa in the afternoon and this morning I wore a scarf  when I walked Christopher to the bus stop! It's feeling a wee bit like Christmas!

So, how about I share a festive holiday project with you?

This is a gift bag I created with Bella Blvd's Christmas Wishes collection a couple months ago.

I love the colors, patterns and whimsical accents!

I really enjoy making gift bags that can be used again and again.

Do you like it? Would you like to win it? Just leave a comment today and I'll draw a winner and announce it on tomorrow's post. :)

Luckily we're supposed to return to more fall like weather tomorrow!

Thanks for visiting!

Christmas Joy

Hello!

This is my second post today so please make sure you scroll down to the first because I have a special tutorial for creating adorable little paper houses!

How are your Christmas preparations coming along? I can't believe some of my cards are being held up by lack of postage stamps! Yep, the post office was out! What the......! This is one snag I didn't anticipate! I ordered some stamps on-line right away so hopefully they'll arrive quickly and things will be back on track.

Today I have another project share, a Christmas card...'tis the season! :)

I created this card using the Bella Blvd. Christmas Wishes collection and an inspiration photo you have to check out here. I promise you will be happy you did because my teammates created some gorgeous projects that I had to Pin!

Don't you just love banners? And presents? Pretty wrapped presents?

I hope you enjoyed my share...and don't forget to check out my previous post for today for a gift giving tutorial!

Christmas Card

Hi!

Now that we're in November, the countdown to Christmas begins! It's time to get busy making our holiday cards and gifts. So when I was given the choice to use any Bella Blvd. collection(s) for my cards today, I chose the festive Christmas Wishes collection.

This line includes some adorable penguins that I used for focal points on my cards!

Look at this little guy...he's so colorful and cute! And look at the pretty presents he brought! :)

These Christmas Wishes papers and accents made it quick and easy for me to create these cards!

I thought it would be fun to make little sentiment flags for my penguins. Simple straight pins work perfectly and since I have pop dots underneath the penguin, it was easy to stick them into my card!

Would you like to take a little hop with me over to the Bella Blvd. blog to see what my teammates created and which Bella collections they chose to work with? Let's go! :)
