Join the Digital Doodles Club!

Once again it's Friday and where I live it's going to be a beautiful day! I hope the sun shines in your neck of the woods too....it's so energizing isn't it?

Well, I need to get more of you interested in joining the Digital Doodles Club! So maybe I ought to tell you what I have up my sleeve. ;) Members of the club will receive exclusive Digital Doodles Stamps that you cannot get anywhere else and the first one will come out in April, in just a couple weeks! I'll randomly visit Digital Doodles Club members' blogs and if I see your Digital Doodles blinkie I'll give you a prize package of brand newly released scrapbook supplies or cash! I also plan on having challenges and contests. One such contest will be to design the next Digital Doodle in which the winning design will become the next stamp to sell on Two Peas in a Bucket! Or how about a Guest Designer spot with Digital Doodles? Sound good? Well, to make this happen, I need you! I need people to join! So if you want to have a little fun with your crafting and earn some prizes along the way, come join me! Click on the Digital Doodles button under my blog title banner and you will find out how to join. It's free! And send a friend! :)

Next, I have a card to share with you. This card incorporates three crafty blog sites. First, I used the new Digital Doodles 'Sweet Cake' stamp. The design is from a 2 Sketches 4 You bonus sketch by design team member Sarah Martina. Last but not least, the color palette is from a new challenge blog that started this week called 'The Shabby Tea Room'.

This card incorporates punches, hand stitching, silk ribbon and a beautiful vintage mother of pearl button. Thanks for the beautiful sketch design Sarah! And thank you to The Shabby Tea Room for the color inspirational photo!

I will be back on Monday with some new projects to share. As always, there are some fabulous new digital kits on Two Peas in a Bucket and I'll be sharing with you a couple of the projects I make with them. I hope you go out and have a wonderful weekend. It's my birthday weekend so I'm excited to spend time with my boys eating cake and celebrating! :)

A Crafty Weekend

I wasn't going to create a new post until tomorrow, but I've been crafting away this weekend and thought I'd share a few of my creations with you.

This first project is a card I made using a lovely digital kit called 'Happy Paper Pack' by Erica Hernandez from Two Peas in a Bucket. These papers are very happy and colorful indeed! Don't you just love the bright colors and designs?!?! I do and I'm sure I'll be making more projects with them soon! The card design is a sketch from the talented Sarah Martina, my design team member at 2 Sketches 4 You!

This next project is a card I made for Cardvarks' Red Heart Challenge.

This is the very first time I've entered one of these sketch site challenges, if you can believe that! I just couldn't pass up making a red heart card! I've been in Valentine mode for weeks now so why not?!?!

Lastly, in keeping up with my New Year's goal, to make more scrapbook pages, I made this Christmas one.

I discovered a fun blog called 'Got Sketch' and this design is from their December 14th post. My husband took this photo of our Christmas tree. He was practicing taking photos at night. I love the way he captured the glow of our tree, even if he didn't get the top of it in the photo. ;)
