Get Out of Town!

It's that time of year again when school is out for the summer so we take off and have some fun! And time flies when you're having fun, right? Perhaps documenting some of your travels while you're away will help create more lasting memories? I like to carry a journal with me so I can write about some of the things we see or special moments we have and I love to bring one of those mini staplers with me so I can staple receipts and little mementos right onto the pages of my book.

At http://www.cardblanc.etsy.com/ you can find journals for your vacation or maybe you know of a couple about to embark on their honeymoon? What a great gift the above set would make! Well, enjoy the summer and happy trails!

Fifth Avenue

I've been making projects with this line of paper from Making Memories for over a year now and I still love it! Some paper lines get old after a while, but this one, Fifth Avenue, has staying power. Here's just a sampling of the projects I've created. If interested, you can purchase the card in the first photo and/or a 6"x6" stack of these gorgeous papers in my Etsy shop at http://www.cardblanc.etsy.com/.

Take Note

Why carry a plain pad of paper around in your purse or glove box when you can deck one out? I purchased this mini composition book from Staples and added some lovely patterned card stock to the front manufactured by Scenic Route and then embellished it with a row of stitched buttons and a cool little rub-on quote. Now when I reach into my purse or across my nightstand for a piece of paper, I feel like smiling! Please note that this mini composition book is for sale in my Etsy store at http://www.cardblanc.etsy.com/ for those of you who don't have the time to dress one of these little guys up.
