2 Sketches 4 You Day!

Hot Dog! It's Monday and a 2 Sketches 4 You day!

Laura is our sketch artist for the week and has this awesome new design for you! And here's the card I made based on her sketch. Don't you just love these little birds? They are digital stamps from our sponsor, The Cutting Cafe! The circle sentiment and background hearts are also part of their 'All About Valentine's Day'  and 'Hearts Background' lines. This week's card winner will receive three sets of stamps from the Cutting Cafe! Too cool, huh!?!?! So hop on over to 2S4Y to get the details and enter your card.

So while we're on the subject of Valentine's Day and hearts, this is another card I made last week.

I've recently been to Archiver's and found some great Valentine papers and accents to play with! The pink paper and dimensional sentiment sticker is from Anna Griffin! Gorgeous, huh?

Thanks for dropping in for a visit! I was at a friends house crafting yesterday and made some fun Valentine cards that I will be posting throughout the week so come back and take a peek when you have a few free moments. :) Kathy

Here Comes the Snow

It's still terribly cold here in North Carolina! And tonight we're expecting snow! Maybe we'll have a snow day tomorrow? It would be fun to get some snow to play in if it has to be so cold! We'll see.

Because of the weather, I've been enjoying some crafting time and I'd like to show you a card I made. I'm a real fan of birds and we have two parrots so I really like this new 'love birds' die cut from Silhouette.

Recently, I also made this Valentine button tree. I've seen many ladies post these on Two Peas in a Bucket and thought I'd give one a try. I wanted to load up my tree with lots of buttons so you cannot see the Styrofoam cone base. The straight pins I used are a good quality glass head type. I found that the old Fancy Pants decorative straight pins make a great accent to the tree too.
